LOVE how this guy is like "I like constructive criticism... Give reasons too!"

Not only is he NOT helping this deck out and SHAMELESSLY promoting his own deck, but he's actually got the audacity to ask this other guy to give him feedback AND justify his feedback too... WTF dude? If you want help, then at least try to also be helpful.

Inexorable Tide + Shrieking Drake would be epic in this deck...

And Turn Aside to protect your permanents.

Dude, Carnifex is a BEAST in the right deck. I've got him in a wither/kulrath knight deck.... You pop 2 of him out and it's game over in 2 turns.

Good thought, but I think Tumble Magnet would be better suited here.

Threw in Prototype Portal because I can make copies of all sorts of things... Energy Chamber, Grindclock, Lux Cannon, and Tumble Magnet would all be nice to have copies of :-)

Dash Hopes might be a good way of working some control into the deck? Sideboarded against a burn deck at least!

Birds of paradise would slow you down a bit, but can also be the blue mana boost you need... But you need some sort of dual land in there... because not being able to cast those blue spells when you need to can hurt.

If you say so dude... I've never used a planeswalker and probably never will... Just not my style :-)

I've built decks with them, but I don't actually own any and I'm not down to fork over the dough involved in acquiring them.

And I don't think the Zenith is that strong in here... A lot of your creatures are 1/1 and it'll kill them off if you use it for 1 counter... it'll kill off EVERYTHING if you use it for 2 (unless you have 2 praetors out) unless you've already used Tezz's 5/5 ability.

Try swapping in Carnifex Demon. His ability is identical, and with 2 of them on the field you have boardwipe every turn and then attack for 10ish. Toss in a few Phyresis to put on them and your Thrummingbirds and it'll be a party.

Cut it down to 60 cards... even being one card over slows down your deck a lot.

The Fume Spitters don't help your infect goal at all, they are just a cheap one drop that results in a -1/-1 counter if you sac it. Virulent Wound would be better since it does the same thing and it'll eventually result in a poison counter, or Necropede since you can block with it and still give a counter out when it hits the graveyard.

Dude, this deck is TOTALLY different now, haha!

Also, Tezz is pretty pointless in this deck now since you only have 4 artifacts and ALL of his abilities revolve around them...

Thanks bud! Me too... I've been trying to come up with a few others lately as well... Direct damage infect (kind of like infect burn, I guess), a sac infect deck, and (this is based on the typical infect decks, just designed a little different) a turn 1 infect deck are a couple I just put up on the site if you wanna check them out. A few others are in the works...

I love infect, and the power of it is pretty impressive and easy to exploit... People just get caught up in exploiting it in the easiest way possible... Can't blame them for being human :-)

Thanks for the comment!

Worst case scenario I can throw in a Decimator Web and use that as well.

And thank you for the feedback!

This deck will be week against creature based decks... like Infect and stompy. I'm sideboarding Doom Blade and Go for the Throat for creature removal to slow those decks down, and if they have no flying protection, I'll swap out some Fuel for the Cause, a couple Negates, and Archmage Ascension for Thrummingbirds and a couple more Corrupted Consciences to speed up the proliferating and counter deliverance.

Thanks for the comments!

This isn't about speed, it's about a set up condition followed by control. All I need is 1 counter and an inexorable tide and the rest sets itself up. If I don't have the means of getting 1 or both of those things going off the bat, control + Ascension for the ability to pick and choose my card draw in the late game.

Also, I've got 8 cards that can give the opponent counters, and another 2 that can take a creature from them and deal counters. 10 cards out of a 60 card deck means, on average, 1 counter giving card out of every 6 cards. I should have one in my opening hand, or one following shortly after.

I have considered mainboarding in Doom Blade or Go for the Throat since I can use those cards as removal and a means of getting a stronger Virulent Wounded creature into the graveyard and using the Black mana to a fuller potential.

I like it! Looks a lot faster than mine with the Stingers and everything.

The thing I've noticed about counter decks is you need some card draw since, ideally, you'll be playing twice as many spells (countering their spells and playing your win condition). Having cards in hand that let you do that is key. This deck especially since this deck functions less on countering and a little more on playing a few creatures, so you need the creatures AND the counters in hand with enough mana to play both.

My suggestion is get some card draw or something that lets you pick what's coming... Preordain, Divination, Halimar Depths, etc... If the deck works without all that, then cool, but you may want to consider them :-)

Other than that, I like the deck! Good luck!

Heritage Druid and Nettle Sentinel would be a good place to start... Greenweaver and Boreal aren't SUPER helpful, but are at least a little more helpful...

Also, Nice addition of Gaea's cradle... Just be careful... It's legendary.

I like the idea... I'm fuzzy on your execution... Only half your deck is 1 drops? If anything I'd just say this was a fast deck that is not very land dependent. Since the other half your deck costs over 3 mana, you should have at least 18 land in this thing.

Also, try out Taunting Elf/Elvish Scout combo! Both are one drops and they combo to let all your attacks get through directly to the opponent without killing off the Taunting Elf... Neat little trick :-)

I've got 2 mono-green one drop decks... Take a look!

Kitesail is a little expensive... You may wanna try out Distortion Strike... Uunblockable +1+0 for 2 turns. I'd say drop a Corrupted Conscience, a Vault Skyward, all the Kitesails and 2 Corpse Cur. Swap in 4 distortion strike and 4 Livewire Lash. Otherwise, it looks good! A little on the generic side, but still good.

You are right about infect being overpowered... Try coming up with different ways of using it.

Look at this

Dude, I like this! Emerge unscathed on a livewire lashed praetors, then attack with it and a battle cry creature for 8 infect.... And by then you should have at least 2 counters on the opponent... WIN!

Seriously, when I get some extra cash I'm gonna build this... Maybe swap a thing or two just for flavor (I don't wanna plagerize).

Very nice build man :-)
