Vendetta is the BEST choice for this type of deck for straight removal

Ok, i just got an answer to the question on Throne + pede.... "First, you activate Throne's ability, and put it on the stack. While paying costs for the ability, you sac the Necropede which triggers its own ability. After you are finished with activating the ability, the Necropede's ability which triggered during this process is placed on top of the stack and will resolve first. Then, Throne's ability will resolve after that. You'll put the counter on first, and then you'll proliferate".
take a look at this deck for some infect ideas. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=126284
and if you're still worried about it and you're playing with 4 of them there is always diabolic tutor but i think that would just be going too far.
It's still in the deck b/c against a stalling deck or a deck that has a lot of control over attacking creatures its basically a double edged sword for my oppent.
Also looking at what i have seen from Besieged, I'm thinking of even dropping the Hands and putting in 2 of the Phyrexian Crusaders since I really hardly find myself needing/casting the Hands...they may go into the sideboard havne't 100% decided. And i'm not sure about the new infect Rats from besieged either. Hopefully they also give us some more low cost artifacts and green/black/blue creatures with infect. The one white creature with infect is a bit lame....but i guess we'll have to wait and see.
The skinrenders would be nice but i was really working on trying to get speed + infect everything in here is 3 or less to cast. Not so much worried about killing an oppenents creatures just having my infected ones go over or around or through them. In a non infect based proliferate deck i'd have 3 or 4 of them for sure though. I'm not sure but I think since both the necropede's ability and thones are instant you can have them happen in any order you want being as they are tech. played at the same time. Not 100% sure i'll have to ask a judge and see.
It plays really really really well... it hardly loses. in regards to lash...i win most of my games with out ever having to play it or really rely on it's main purpose. A lot of the times it's T1 land T2 stinger T3 kicked Vines + Vamps bite for 8 counters. After than the next turn usually does it. 19 creatures seems to work just fine honestly.
If you're really worried about livewire lash... don't be.. honestly i win most of my game with my infect deck without ever playing it.
oh and take out Lilana
you shouldn't need the dragon or putrefax honestly... SPEED is the name of the game. Check out my B/G infect deck for some ideas. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=126284
Check out some of the spoiled Besieged knights. They're pretty awesome
Check out my infect deck. .Might give you some ideas on how to trim this down and make it more reliable. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=126284
You can ALSO use the same combo to so infinite damage with Battlesphere.
yeah i'm about 99.9% sure it won't work. I also think Tide costs too much for infect. It would be nice in a deck that has some mana ramp up to get out faster but overall i'm not a fan of proliferate. It's OK in a group game when you have time to build up. But in Tourny's it's just not up to snuff at the monment. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=126284

giant growth doesn't give 3x +1/+1 counters so no you can't proliferate that or any equip that just gives a creature +X/+X. The card must specify "counters".
My idea was to NOT use prolierate really at all since i don't personally feel it's up to tourny speed for Standard yet. The birds are in there just realy as a creature filler i thought of replacing with Necropedes but decieded to keep them just for that random chance I would get to use their ability.
Take out Overwhelming Stampede add in Prey's Vengeance and i would drop Necropedes down or out all together and drop down to 20 or less lands since you have all 3 or less casting cost especially if you drop stampedes. Tangle Angler is a decent option but still has a rather higher casting cost than i personally like to use in infect decks. Unless you are playing a splash of blue to slow the game down a little you should shoot for 3-4 turn win. You shouldn't ever have to use Stampede to win so the card space is better served for either creatures or other buffing spells. Just some thoughts. Look at my infect deck may give you some ideas: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=126284
Also i'm not sure if it works ( i dont' think it does) but Echo Mage + Tide won't double prolif. b/c you aren't actually casting but 1 spell...the mage is copying the 2nd version of the spell so you aren't casting it to trigger Tide.
