maybe substitute a duress or two or three for cards like corrupt, weed strangle, consume spirit, quag sickness or marsh casualties. Sure, they're a bit more expensive, but they all are able to weaken, dish out damage, or plain out destroy stuff. plus, consume spirit, corrupt, and weed strangle could regain life you may have lost while being aggro. otherwise, great job. --pyrothos

personally i think, "if it works, LEAVE IT THE HELL ALONE!!!"
looks eviler than before.
hey ferny, sorry the reply took so long, I find that this deck works very well for me (as do my other mono colored decks). That being said, when you mentioned something about high seas were you talking bout sunken city?
sounds awesome
nice job on this one.
seems like a decent deck, have you playtested it yet?
unfortunately i was mistaken, he just had a couple of them and a salvage scout. sorry for any mistaken excitement.
my little brother has a combo in his white/green Knight/mindslaving deck, i just can't remember what it was... but with it he can repetatively bring back and use his mindslaver while attacking me with all his knights. i been working on a counteracting combo though. anyways i'll try and figure it out and post it here.
it would be cool to convert this though i think i'd try and get a creature like jenara, it fits with whole counter idea of this deck.
if you can get your hands on some of the splicers from new phyrexia and a xenograft or two, you can use a wing splicer to get flight, and a maul splicer to get trample, these aren't artifacts but they can help. the only artifacts i can think of are already mentioned.
the only issue i see with this deck is if your opponent manages to amass a group of flying creatures.
i find that an allosaurus rider makes a decent big creature late game.
this must be REALLY fun to play lol.
i'd drop a battleshere and add another galvanizer or origin spellbomb, but i'm no myr expert...
maybe consider adding in an icatian javelineers or two...
consider swapping in a pennon blade, it can stupidly boost your scion, and remember the change only lasts for one turn so make sure you're ready to attack... i'd also consider a soul's fire, it makes a creature deal damage equal to it's power to target creature or player, thus, you may not even need to attack.
wow, i never thought to do that while using my platinum angel...
finally someone else using momir vig, i too like using counters to mess with my opponent's game, when you get the chance, search me and look at my "bant on sterroids deck.
i've had this deck running for a while and find that it works fine save for stuff to block flying...
