I like Rampaging Baloths also, and def will grab some if I find em, thanks. I was also thinking about Kalonian Behemoth too. No trample, but it's a big hitter that I can get out faster with the mana accel.

I like the deck. I agree with the post above, Elvish Piper would be great for this deck, assuming you have any.

I will def look into Double Negative and Swerve. Based on the decks I play against most often, Double Negative might fit in better than Swerve. I also do like the Grixis idea.

AEthercraft, I don't think I have ever seen you post a POSITIVE response to any deck.

I like it! I might add Primal Bellow/Giant Growth/Might of Oaks for added damage, but aside from that, thumbs up.

BlackDragon - Not impressed by Blood Tribute? If you are playing against another good deck that is keeping up with yours, Blood Tribute is a very powerful card. And in a Vamp deck it's an absolute game changer since you can gain the life you are taking from your opponent.

I think you could trade Soul Stair for something else, but aside from that it's a nice Vamp deck.

I would trade out the Lacerators for Child of Night or Bloodseekers as well as some additional Bloodghasts. Nocturnus is a great combo with Kalitas (although I am really not a fan of Kalitas). Overall its a nice deck and would work for FNM.

Anonymous - is that expensive as in cost-to-buy or as in casting cost?

Personally I don't like 4-color decks, so I can't be too much help here.... I think that this deck could work well as a Black/Blue deck based on your creatures and spells. Kind of a Vampire/Counter type of deck.

No reason for sac lands in this deck. Also, you realize that this would be a T2 deck if you removed Corrupt? Maybe trade it for something like Consume Spirit? Not quite the same thing, but it can still be effective and it's Standard. Or Blood Tribute would work too since you are running a Vamp deck...

Thanks mergrave. I like the addition of Crypt... although I think to get the best use of of it I would want to add some lower end Vamps that are in the sideboard right now to the Main deck. Good call, thanks for the heads up.

Kaim, Vein Drinker is there to act as another 4/4 flyer. I know I can't use her second ability, but that's not what I am using her for. If I am removing Vein Drinker and adding Bloodghast and Nocturnus to the main I would also want to add Diabolic Tutor in there to make sure I had a good chance of either A) drawing Nocturnus straight out or B) being able to search for him.

Not a bad idea. Not sure if it would actually work... but I def like the idea behind it. Let me know if you even do end up making this deck and playing it. Might work as is, or be close to working and just need a few tweaks.
