I would also replace with a few quick-drop low level vamps for use in the combo. Lacerator, Guul Draz, Child of Night, Blood Seeker, etc.

Child of Night also works well with Sanguine bond since his Lifelink ends up hurting your opponent when Bond is out.

I would up to to 4 Blood Tributes. Tribute+ Kicked Vamp + Sanguine Bond is your game-winning combo.

I would also advise cutting this to 60 cards to make it run better and give you a better/faster chance of pulling off the combo.

I made a deck like this:

I like the Zombie idea of this deck (similar to what someone else posted yesterday Deck link: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=41379). I also like the "mill/control" side. I think khane is right, though. If the idea is to use zombies to kill, I would focus more on early control (unsummon, essence scatter, countersquall, cancel, etc) and remove some of the mill stuff (hedron crab, archive trap, tome scour, etc) for other cards. I actually think based on what you have here you are close to 2 useable decks - a zombie/control deck and a mill deck.

I really like how this deck is constructed, especially considering the constraints you put on where the cards could come from. Nice job. Have you played this in a competitive format at all? FNM or anything? I would be interested to hear how it played.

Jeez, people on here are so intolerant of anything they don't think can win a Grand Prix... how about asking what the deck is being used for? For casual games with friends perhaps this deck works. If the purpose of this deck is use in more competitive games then it needs some work (as well as at least 6 more cards). But why don't you guys ask before you rip it apart?

Not bad, although I think you can "focus" the deck more. I don't think it is worth adding cards to activate Vein Drinker, you only have 1 of her. If you are playing non-standard Dark Ritual is always a plus to throw in there, although depending on what you are playing it's not always necessary. Tendrils of Corruption and/or Consume Spirit might be good too since you are playing group games.

Check out what you think of my non-standard Vamp deck

I am 10-2 with it.

Here is a Standard Vamp Deck that is based on a Sanguine Bond/Feast of Blood Win Combo:

lol. nice job. like you said, banned for Standard, but I bet this is a fun combo to play in casual games. Have you actually played this out in real life?

Actually in this setting the Skeletons become useful. Pumped by Death Baron and able to be Regenerated. They will be tough to get rid of.

Gee Puffermad, I am sure that was helpful. Keep posting stuff like that....

Anyway... brokenenigma, I run a vamp deck, too. I like yours quite a bit, running 4 bloodghasts and 4 nocturnuses is a strong play (I don't have enough of either card for myself, so I have had to look at different win conditions).

The only real suggestion I would make here is to add Doomblades either to your Main or your Sideboard. I know you have Deathmark, but that is obviously much more restricted in what you can use it on. I also prefer Durress in the Main because in your first game of the game of the match you don't really know what you are up against (normally) and Duress allows you to actually look at the opponents hand. Then you can pull in the Mind Rot/Sludge from the sideboard later if you decide that you need more discard types. Just some thoughts. Overall I think this is a very strong deck. If you get a chance if you could check out mine and give some input I would appreciate it. It's always helpful for me to get comments from people running their own Vamp decks.

If you traded a few cards out for standards this could be a T2 deck, playable at FNM and other places... Just a thought.

Is this for casual play with friends or something where you get paired with people you don't know with decks you haven't seen? I ask because if you are looking to use this deck in something like FNM I would cut it down to 60 cards.

Nice mix of minor skeletons and zombies that get pumped by Death Baron and Cemetary Reaper. I think this would have a good shot at a FNM.

Nice. I'd trade 2 Bloodwitches for 2 Nighthawks in the Main, since you can get them out faster, but aside from that it's a nice mix of Jund and Vamp. If you get a chance check out a mono black deck I made for FNM: Deck link: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=41374

Agreed - Jund is crazy powerful. This is why most people I know can't wait until the Alara block goes out of Standard... Nice job to come in sixth, though.

kaim - I know. I don't argue that this deck is weak against control decks, but more often than not I am running into aggro decks using tokens (Emeria Angle, Turntimber Ranger) that really aren't threatening. Of course a Control/Counter deck causes problems for this combo, but this is a risk I am willing to take.

I would add 4x Journey to Nowhere to help keep creatures from getting to you early. I'd also say drop the Planeswalkers to 2 each. I like the idea you are going for, I just think you need to make some modifications to ensure that you will live to get these creatures and Walkers out. Nice job.
