There is an infinite life / infinite mana / infinite landfall combo using: Storm Cauldron, Grazing Gladehart, and Fastbond. It only requires green for the Fastbond and Grazing Gladehart. Not sure if it's out of your budget or not, but it's an amusing combo.

Well, if it did they'd have to raise it's CMC to like 15 or else it would be ridiculous.
Correct me if I'm wrong but... almost all of the mill cards say something like "opponent puts *insert number here* cards into his or her graveyard." Doesn't that mean that none of them technically count as discarding? If I'm right Megrim has no place at all in this deck, as it will never deal damage.
And now that I just thought of it, I could use my Doubling Seasons to mill too with a Screeching Sliver :D
Every token copy of Doubling Season is also a creature. Conspiracy makes it so all my creatures are the type I choose (Sliver). So... I basically have a bunch of Doubling Season Sliver creatures that then get the sliver abilities from the 2 actual slivers (Gemhide Sliver and Cautery Sliver). It lets me use the copies of Doubling Season to deal damage in an interesting way, that's all :)
You might need a better win condition than a handful of creature-generating lands.
Right now it's more agro than control... but yea, it is a good start. When I first made my U/W control deck it looked like this too. What you want to focus on is: Counters / creature destruction; a few cards for a draw mechanic like Ponder and Divination maybe; and then a relatively small amount of creatures (like 10 or 12) that have shroud. Deft Duelist is ideal, same with Wall of Denial. Sphinx of Jwar Isle is amazing, if you can get them.
Lol nice combos man. +1
I think that's probably a good call. I like the deck though :) +1
Lol yea, it gets insane. It's one of my favorite combos <3 Thanks for all the great comments! :)
Just be wary of blue decks with this hipponox, now that Mindbreak Trap is out. It's kind of like anti-cascade.
Yea, that's definitely a big help. When I make a sliver deck I'm probably going to restrict it to 3 colors. Thinking about R/G/W.
+1 btw, because I like seeing decks that use weird mechanisms.
Explanation is up. More comments welcome. Don't downrate just because it's only pointing out a combo :(
Ok ok. I'll put it in the description.
I built a deck based on this concept also. Take a look at it if you want any ideas. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=31609
Thanks for evening out the deck rating for me. :)
Ah yes, good call on Chronozoa. Didn't think about that.
Woot I was downrated for no reason. At least post a comment maybe?
You should try to work in the Doubling Season / Opalescence / Followed Footsteps combo. It would be quite amusing.
