The mana ramp is to speed into New Frontiers, Skyscribing, and Prosperity; the spells that make the deck work. Erasure is just a low-cost enchantment that helps with Jace and the two draw cards that make the deck function.

And why can't I have 3 Jace? Seems enough that I'm likely to draw into one, yet not enough to have them crowded in my hand.

If you think mono-blue is the way to go with this deck, I think you might be missing the point of it...

I'd say if you're going to run Stoic Rebuttal, probably run more than just the one; makes sense that if you're planning on countering something, you'll probably count on playing against more than one of it. Also serves as protection for the heavier cards like the Angel, Hellkite, and Wurmcoil.

Personally, I don't like running the Perilous Myr outside of a deck that can sacrifice him, but he does play well with the Galvanizers...

Other than that, looks pretty fun. Good luck with it!

88 cards, and a ton of random onesies... I'd recommend cutting some of the less relevant (or in the case of Bird Maiden, just plain bad...) and/or higher-cost spells and creatures, and trying to focus on a specific theme.

I might actually take some of your ideas for my WB Pox deck. :d

Only thing I can think of is Forbidden Orchard, which works decently with Tainted Aether, but isn't necessarily good unless you have support for it...

Also on the note of Tidehollow Sculler-- He's great in Nightmare Effect (another sub-tourny tier), but that relies on recursion tools and the ability to sacrifice him in response to the ETB trigger.

I'd recommend Contested War Zones over the Evolving Wilds.
Maybe a onesie Mortarpod instead of Skinwing.

And what are the Voltaic Keys going to untap?

Recommend Dark Ritual just for the possibility of a turn-1 Buried Alive.

I'd actually recommend Smallpox over Chainer's Edict as well; it helps you by allowing you to pitch a card (Ghast, Dread, Darkblast, Demigod...), and the penalty of sacrificing a creature is next-to-naught considering you've got plenty of throwaway creatures.

I see no way of dealing with a turn-1 creature since you're lacking Force of Will, Daze, and any form of bounce or spot removal.

Nobody have any suggestions? I'm really trying to bring this deck to a place that I'd be able to actually buy the pieces and do well in a tournament, but I need suggestions and feedback before I even proxy the thing up...

Likewise; creatures like Grimoire Thief and Cold-Eyed Selkie just beg for the Sword though...

Anything that fetches an island, lol. Flooded Strand, Polluted Delta, Misty Rainforest, and Scalding Tarn to be more accurate.

Traumatize looks better on paper than it works out to in practice...
I'd suggest replacing it with more Tome Scour and Archive Trap.

I'd also suggest adding some fetch-lands to make more use of Hedron Crab.

Grand Architect, Etherium Sculptor, Fieldmist/Mistvein Borderpost, Sky Diamond, Silver Myr... All rampy goodness.

Unfortunately, none of them would really help your mana-curve problem.

I'd suggest dropping cards like Jokulmorder and Lorthos, as well as either the Platinum Angel or Empyrion, to add more low-cost creatures or defensive spells.

Inkmoth Nexus would be an awesome addition; free art. creature on the first turn.

Aside from that, you're lacking in 1-drops. Basilisk Collar, Chimeric Mass, Flayer Husk, or even something just for protection like Oust, Condemn, or Silence. Maybe cut down on some of the higher cost creatures to make room for some?

I'd also suggest upping the count of Contagion Clasp, since you're running with so many cards with counters to manipulate...

When you said "Stompy", I had in mind the Stompy shell (City of Traitors, Ancient Tomb, Rishadan Port, Wasteland, Aether Vial, Trinisphere...). This is not the same kind of stompy as I was thinking of.

I'd recommend +2 Berserk, even as far as to say -2 Giant Growth for it.

4x Crystalline Sliver, no exceptions.

For casual decks, I'd recommend 4x Gemhide. Outside of casual, replace Gemhide slivers with Aether Vial.

Also worth mentioning are the Flanking sliver and the Poisonous sliver.
Sliver decks have power in swarming, and that's usually accomplished by having lots of low-cost creatures. With that in mind, I'd recommend cutting some of the higher-cost cards (and probably the Worn Powerstone...) and putting more copies of Muscle Sliver, Sinew Sliver, and the like into the deck.

8x Fetchlands for only 4 fetchable lands seems wrong to me, considering the deck itself will probably last long enough to run out of fetch targets...

Other than that, Everflowing Chalice could just as easily be replaced with other mana dork artifacts, and I'd suggest going up to 4x Force of Will over 2x Force/2x Daze. The deck's mana curve seems a bit high, and it seems like you could easily fit in the CounterTop engine if you cut a couple planeswalkers/wurmcoil engine. Almost just as easy to slip Thopter Foundry / Sword of the Meek for an alternate win-con. Or Painter/Grindstone...

The sideboard seems a little strange to me as well; Spell Pierce seems fine, but personally I'd be wary about having absolutely no graveyard-hate in any Legacy tournament.

Anyway, just IMO...

Looks like a deck that I ripped on the other day, minus the stuff he ignored me about, HAH.

Seriously, though, it looks pretty good. Might trade out the Inkmoth Nexi for 1x Mox Diamond and 3x Daze/different manland...

Looks pretty good as it goes; Intuition is a win-win-win, Loam is a win-win...

Feel like a dick self-promoting, but could you give me some feedback on my deck?

I'd probably suggest replacing an Elspeth or two with her older form (Elspeth, Knight-Errant)... That aside, I'd probably switch a couple of True Conviction out for... Something with a lower mana cost. :<

Probably replace Darksteel Colossus with Blightsteel Colossus, but I can't think of anything else that I'd change about the deck... Just can't quite wrap my head around Polymorph without access to Brainstorm... :\

Not really digging Ajani's Mantra... Maybe the Soul Sisters (whenever a creature enters the battlefield, gain 1 life) or Martyr of Sands would be more useful?
