For the same casting cost as Trinket Mage, your could just use Fabricate and not worry about the Mage being shut down by the Torpor Orb. Also, with Torpor Orb... Eater of Days is a decent card to look into.

I really wish they'd bring Dwarves and Orcs into magic more. Fallen Empires was ages ago... Although I am glad they finally brought "devils" into the picture more and that they've also found a more likable creature in Sphinx for blue, because lets face it... every damn kraken, leviathan, and serpent was way more of a drawback than a gain in power; except maybe Lorthos.
This is a nice, quick, and rather strong creature deck. I'm surprised Voice of Resurgence is not in here though for it's speed and the amount of creatures this deck churns out. Still, it's a solid deck Ded.
Looks fun... a good casual deck.
See You On The Flip-Side? Morphin Krosan?
I failed to realize this was a budget build. You can only have 1 Sol Ring in a deck. So for $10 to have 2 mana for 1 as early as turn 1. If it wasn't printed an Uncommon, but a rare... we'd have a power 10 and not a power 9 in Magic.Honestly I'm not sure what to take out of your deck, only because I'm not sure how you envision running it. If it were me, I'd probably bring in another 2 scepters and try to get counterspell imprinted on it ASAP and mix in Winter Orb along with with the cards that untap lands. It's magic... so there are tons of options. Just choose what is most comfortable for you to use.
With Eon Hub in the deck helping pull off so many fun tricks... why not up the count on Ertai's Meddling? Also, it seems Eon Hub is a big player in the deck. Why are you not running 4? Just curious is all.Since this is vintage legal as well I suggest running Sol Ring.
Losing to Words of Wisdom is pretty damn entertaining. I would love to have seen that. With as much black as I play, I'm astounded to see a card like Faerie Macabre finally coming to my attention when I easily own 2-3 playsets of it...if not more.I'd love to play against the Amore e Morte build, although if I ran mono black like I usually do, the Contamination would surely be swapped with your Pithing Needle and Duress. So, in honesty... I think, for a challenege, I'd probably try my Jace control deck against it.
Gemhide Sliver could help this deck quite a bit...
Skullcrack?
Creatures with such a high casting cost could be helped out greatly by Crypt Ghast.
scour! Scour! SCOUR! I need me a SCOUR!
Note to self if I ever play against you; Always have Bajuka Bog's and Tormod's Crypt's available in sideboard, always be prepared for a variant infection of pox, and always remember White and Blue will kill me.... along with Doomsday. GOT IT!
Gush is a ridiculous card. So much fun with Stasis. Mixed with a Doomsday deck... I cannot help but shake my head at the thought.
The last legacy tournament I played in, I went against a stasis deck. The first game took forever. I sideboarded and grabbed Extirpate... once they used Gush, Daze, or Foil... I extracted the hell out of them. Then I waited and beat them down with some flyers. It was pretty great.
Okay... I figured that might be the "win" card, but I wasn't sure. Playing against this would be worse than a stasis deck.
I do what I can... hahaha!
We're allowed to use all banned cards as long as we don't abuse them. So for one untap... it's not abusive. Repeated untapping and pitching the rest would be a bit abusive of it I feel.
Not familiar with this build at all... and quite frankly I am not sure how you win with it. I feel rather dumb at the moment. Perhaps it'll come to me if I stare at it longer...
Sure it's fun... your opponents might not think so, but it's good for one laugh at least.
