Pardon my lack of knowing. What is the rule change? I've been busy writting music and avoiding Magic pretty much all together as of late.
Fuckin' Pox again... bah! The plague never ends with you!
Forced Fruition for added insult would be hilarious.
Combined with Unearth, i think Golgari Grave Troll is a beast for the deck. Although with Verdant Catacombs in the deck, I'm surprised you aren't running Overgrown Tomb over Woodland Cemetery.
Since this is Legacy and Vintage legal... I'm really surprised Golgari Grave Troll is not in here. Granted it's not exaclty a Dredge deck, but if you entomb a Grave Troll... you can mill deeper into your deck and really get things rolling faster.
Why not add Progenitus to be cast for free from the Archangel. Also, I'd up the count of the Archangel to 4 since it's an important piece. Some Chromatic Lantern's and Reflecting Pool's might go a long way for you too.
Simple; yet very effective. My kind of deck! Nice one!
I like the low mana curve, but I think a Guttersnipe might work a bit better than Bloodcrazed Goblin. I'd lower the Reverberate to 2 and cut the Incinerate's out and replace them with Skullcrack. Incindiary is a decent concept, but I believe Pyromancer Ascension might work a bit better in this deck. Shock is a decent card, but with Lightning Bolt and Lava Spike dealing more for the same cost, it just falls short in my opinion. Manabarbs is always a good fit for a low costing burn deck, but you just have to be carefull. Pyroclasm or Volcanic Fallout are good substitues as well. Vexing Devil is a great "burn" card, but if you put that in over the Goblin Arsonist... your deck would be down to 8 goblins and having 4 goblin grenades might be a bit much.If you go the Vexing Devil route i suggest replacing the Grenades with something to draw cards since burn decks tend to run out of steam pretty quickly. Maybe Tibalt, Wild Guess, or even Faithless Looting. Also, if you got some cash... Bonfire of the Damned is great, along with Banefire.
Thanks, it's mostly for fun and usually only works once. After they see how it works it tends to be blighted out right away.
Sure, I can take a look.
Right... I was a bit tired when I posted that. I should have noticed that.
I see removal and burn. No control really... Control usually implies counterspells and/or locking out an opponent in some way or another. Stensia Bloodhall is horrible... 5 mana to do 2 damage is just crazy. It's a decent card in EDH maybe or casual multiplayer, but you really should invest into some Blood Crypts. The biggest weakness to this deck is if you play against a control deck running few to no creatures. If you are, your deck is will get destroyed. I'm not too savvy with Standard anymore, so I could be way off... either way, this deck needs some major tweaking and unfortunatley I'm not sure where to start. You concept is decent, but it's just so reliant on your opponent running tons of creatures.
Mycosynth Golem? Might speed it up a tad for modern.
I never intended to drop the Dreadnought. That card is a beast with Torpor Orb, I just thought the Eater of Days having Flying could be a good sideboard choice. Although trample does it's job with Dreadnought I suppose.
I figured. I was just busting your balls. Looks like a crazy deck, definitely fun for casual.
Hmm... needs lands and less other stuff.
You need to remove about 15 cards... it'll work a lot better that way. I would also not recommend removing any land either.
Well done indeed!
Fatespinner and Cannonist together is just ridiculous... I love it.
