there are lots of ways to pull this kind of deck off. this is just one of them
force and daze handle the early game, set up counterbalance and top and your in business
turn 1 swamp, dark ritual, thoughtseize, hymn to tourach, surgical extraction
turn 2 cloud of faeries and the jitte on turn 2 is a win
ajani's pridmate is a beast in here

imagine of the opponent is playing a blightsteel shape deck, here is your turn 1. swamp, duress- take out their shape anew. then dump 2 life and extract the shape. now the opponent cant do anything and its only turn 1. enjoy
ive become rather fond of due respect, if used correctly its as good as silence, plus you get a card
turn 1- inkmoth nexus turn 2- plains and copper myr turn 3- make the nexus a creature then tap it and the myr out to play myr superion slam

so many lands for a quick overlord and easy search
i would run 38 lands so you can hopefully play your gen a little sooner, which will put this deck over the top. maybe even 39-40
