The problem with moving Rhythm mainboard is space. The more non-elf cards I have mainboard, the less Elves I have to trigger Vanquisher's Banner and Beast Whisperer.I shall do some testing at FNM this weekend and I may tweak the list afterwards.

You seem to be all in on the extra damage granted by [[High Alert]]. Sadly with it being the only effect in the deck, and no reliable way to search for it outside of pure draw (in Standard at least), you'll be inconsistent with the overall performance of the deck.My suggestion: Add green. Green gives access to [[Arcades, the Strategist]] to double up on [[High Alert]]'s main effect. You also get access to [[Saruli Caretaker]] to help with mana fixing. And [[Tower Defense]] gives you a good amount of burst damage.
Ye, it's all about the combat tricks here.
Holy crap, someone made a comment on a deck I haven't looked at in just over 4 years. And yes, I know of [[Lumbering Battlement]]. Sadly the delay on returning my cretures is counterproductive.
[[Hero's Downfall]] may be a necessary evil vs Planeswalkers. While the games where close, I've beaten a similar deck off planeswalker ulti's. Downfall should earn at least a few sideboard slots.
With enough low power creatures, [[Mentor of the Meek]] can draw you a lot, especially during the loop. Similarly, [[Militia Bugler]] can help you dig for non-Battlement creatures.[[Sailor of Means]] can help you ramp into Battlement.[[Shield Mare]] would be an awesome sideboard option.
[[Aviation Pioneer]] is already filling the required role.
And it's ideas like this that make me consider splashing white into my Gruul deck for Knight of Autumn (also because of how versatile it is).
The links don't work with all cards, but: "[["card name"]]" (without the quotation marks). It won't show the linked cards for you immediately (need to reload the page) and I don't think it works in Deck Description and How to Play.
Looks like a fun deck. And with all those ETB triggers, [[Mirror Image]] has many worthwhile targets.Only suggestion I could maybe add is an obvious one: [[Hallowed Fountain]]
[[Metallic Mimic]] (calling Ooze) can get you even more use out of [[Hardened Scales]].
Interesting. Reminds me of my Selesnya multicolour deck:https://www.mtgvault.com/dedwards/decks/liege-and-glass/Which is a remake of a deck I've had some FNM success with:http://www.mtgvault.com/dedwards/decks/yes-my-liege/Here's hoping these will help give you ideas for the Selesnya part of your hybrid series.
I like the idea, but I have 1 concern: Torment of Hailfire requires {B}{B}, and you only have 4 Blooming Marsh. Yes, Elves of Deep Shadow can add {B}, but only if not suffering from summoning sickness, which means you'll have a lot of games where you can combo off but not have enough {B} for Torment.I recommend looking at adding a lot more GB duals, especially ones that enter the battlefield untapped, to help with this {B}{B} problem. I do like the addition of Throne of the God-Pharaoh, gives a good alt win. You may also want to tweak the number of mana dorks (Llanowar Elves, Elvish Mystic, and Elves of Deep Shadow) to make room for something like [[Lead the Stampede]] or [[Collected Company]]. These cards help you get more Elves sooner and give a way to rebuild after a board sweep.
[[Utopia Sprawl]] + [[Arbor Elf]] ramps pretty fast (potential 4 mana on turn 2).[[Garruk Wildspeaker]]'s [+1] untaps 2 lands. This is good for untapping Nykthos and / or an enchanted land.

Why swap the [[Smoldering Marsh]], which is a mountain, for a non mountain? [[Koth of the Hammer]] works better the more Mountains you have. And the fetches help me get the duals and trigger Revolt for [[Fatal Push]]. [[Cavern of Souls]] is a little too expensive for my liking (Currently $60+ on Star City Games). Besides, I don't need the mana fixing as I'm (mostly) mono red. And if you read the comments above, control isn't really a problem in my meta.Honestly, I don't feel like I need [[Sarkhan, Fireblood]]. Like I said already, I'm mono red, so the colour fixing isn't needed, I have 6 walkers and 6 mana rocks that provide mana that can be used on any spell, and my dragons don't have super high mana costs.
Besides the lack of walkers in my meta, I don't have any [[Dreadbore]].The problem decks in my meta are 8 Whack, an aggro [[Arclight Phoenix]] mono red, Storm, Grishoalbrand, [[Tooth and Nail]] Tron, and Valakut. Not many planeswalkers there.
Not so smart, just well read. I have a Modern Dragon deck I've been working on, so most of this is me speaking from experience.
