chances of having atleast 3 artifacts with 0 cmc by turn 3 to triggers: %7.71
chances of having a stoneforge mystic by turn 2: 44.48%

if anyone want to double check my work, go right ahead, I am still pretty new to using this sort of probabillity stuff, but really its much more likely to have a stoneforge

give me a bit and I will get you the probabillities for your deck, Stoneforge mystic is pretty much always faster, but just double checking, its ok if i do the probabillites based on a turn 3 fetch right?

i would take out the quest for the holy relics and add in 2 more stone forge mystics, he tends to be better and faster (note: yes i did see the 0 ccs but honestly the chance that you are going to have enough to make a difference anywhere near as fast as stoneforge does is slim)

also think about squadron hawk and gideon jura (not musts, just good cards to look at)

Ok, i am not going to explain how I got this unless someone requests but here
Note, they are relatively simplistic, but still not the easiest things in the world to calculate

This is the probabillity of NOT drawing any 4 of by turn 3 in a 60 card deck

Turn 1 60.05%
Turn 2 55.52%
Turn 3 51.25%

The probabillity of NOT drawing either vines of vastwood or groundswell (8 cards which we will say both give +4/+4) is

turn 1...34.46%
turn 2....29.41%
turn 3....24.89%

so really we have a fair chance of being able to combo off for a lot of damage on turn 3, and lightning bolts generally take care of blockers

side note: flameslash does more damage and I wouldn't blame someone for adding it over lightning bolt, but I like the instant speed

also, I am sorry that this is so incomplete in comparison to a full stat and probabillity list, but probabillity gets really complex really fast. If you don't believe me go look it up yourself, and I would welcome any simple way to do this correctly

no
look, remember the kuldotha red decks? they have less of a chance of going off very fast then this imo, give me an hour or 2 and i will calculate the probabillities of everything working for you, i can't do it right at this moment, but will do it pretty soon

actually not really
it does help and its a land, and provides an extra infect or two
if nothing else it does damage and infect when I can't pump due to blockers

yeah I know it does, but its a good deck overall, and its fast, and there is also a chance they won't draw unsummon right :P

well actually, to be honest I think I am going to try running it with lightning bolt first because of the instant speed, so i don't have to waste a mana on my turn. Will change if i need the extra 1 damage though

great deck overall, but my only question is what does Cystbearer and boar umbra add to the deck? This looks more of an aggro layout to me, so I am just questioning why those are not replaced with faster cards

2 of each land + fetches + duals imo, and then city of brass and similar lands are not a bad idea
also, progenitus while your at it might be a good idea

i would sideboard Unstable Footing to deal with Kor Firewalker and Phyrexian crusader
also, you might want to think about mimic vat, by no means is it required by the repeated elemental every turn would not be a bad idea

OH HEY, found the deck i got the idea from, it was the one in Ded's link
yeah lol, will edit that in the information now, and yeah
if it wasn't for phyrexian crusader and kor firewalker, It would definitely be tournament worthy
as it is I still have a 60 % win rate against netdecks on OCTGN right now with it... the cawblade match up is very close until they sb in firewalkers...

as long as I have atleast 4 lands besides the techtonic edge (or need it to keep jace out of play) I am fine with losing the land, however I have been having a lot of trouble with phyrexian crusader and kor firewalker, any ideas anyone?

after testing decided to keep galvanic blast over flameslash just because of the instant speed, it runs very smoothly without the iron myr and I am hesitant to rely on it when its only really useful one turn and afterwards dead weight in this deck

note while i like this deck, in this form it is definitely for casual play
it wouldn't be able to keep up with the fast pace of legacy :(
if anyone has any suggestions to significantly speed up this deck please tell me
