i have to many recomendations, so i'll just write a few of them. i think that Archers in Standard are doomed to Fail, so these are for casual. #1: Greatbow Doyen #2: Mirror Entity #3: Thornweald Archer #4: Trophy Hunter #5: Selesnya Sagittars

Just a question, but does becon of imortality cout as gaining life, or just doubling it? because if it doesn't, you've got a deck that cant do anything.
go down to 2 Scion of the Wild and 2 Thelonite Hermit. i agree with nightwynd, Sporesower thallid is a Must!! it seriously changest the game, and can practicaly win for you late game. Blanchwood Armor is good, but off topic. i would drop it along with atleast 1 Nemata, Grove Guardian, simply becase it is high cost and not a fungus. i'd add in 4 sacura tribe elder or rampant growth for mana exel. Life and Limb is amazing, but i find that most of the time it just means that next turn your lands are going to be Pyroclasmed. so i would lose that. i recomend essence warden as a realy nice 1 mana slot to add, and a good idea for your legends would be to take out 1 Rhys the Redeemed and 1 Omnath, Locus of Mana to put 2 Time of Need in. this way you will be able to search for watever legend you need most at the time. Also, i would recomend dropping the Fogs, since they're only usefull late game. and by that time, you should be pumping out enough saprolings to deal with threats, no matter the size. and i would drop 1 Sporoloth for the same reason as nightwynd. In short, This is what i recomend: - 1 Scion of the Wild - 1Thelonite Hermit - 2 Blanchwood Armour - 1 Nemata, Grove Guardian - 3 Life and Limb - 1 Rhys the Redeemed - 1 Omnath, Locus of Mana - 3 Fog - 1 Sporoloth ancient + 4 Sporesower thallid + 4 Sacura-Tribe Elder / Rampant Growth + 4 Essence Warden + 2 Time of Need
Looks nice, but for speed you'll need to add either rampant growth or Sakura tribe elder. you'll want 4 of atleast one of those. that should probably fix it. but idk what you should take out... my recomendation of what to take out you wont like, but here it is: Protean Hydra (because it doesn't go with the theme), Rith, the Awakener (because to use it's ability you will need to deal combat damage to oponent, which with only flying as its evation isnt likely to happen), and 1 paradox haze (because you'll have 6 double token generating anyway). also, it might be a good idea to get playsets of essence warden and deathspore thalid. and Please add more land!!!!!! my fungus needed 23 land before it realy started working, and i think yours will too. well, hope i helped.
i'd rather use Tukatongue Thallid than Thallid, because it's a fast creature you shouldn't be afraid to attack/Block with, while thallid you always want to save. but i can see and have felt the benefits of thallid late game, so it's your decition. The one problem with life and limb is that pyroclasm kills all your lands... so i use Thelonite Hermit. oh, and what happened to Thelon of Havenwood and Pendelhaven? Epic Struggle is nice -- if not in main deck, atleast sideboard it. Scion of the Wild is fun to throw in, and essence warden is a nice way of life. Looks like a nice deck.
NO GREATBOW DOYEN? greatbow doyen is the reason to make an archer deck, but you dont have it. and there is no way 20 land is going to suport this 75 card deck. i'd suggest cutting this deck down to 60 cards. Narrow escape will be unnessisary in a 60 card deck with 4 dawn charm. Take out your Stream of Life and Vitalizing Cascade, replace them with 2 or 3 Dawnglow Infusion. Arrow volley trap isn't good enough to run only 1 coppy-- take it out. Tel-Jilad Archers should be replaced with Selesnya Sagittars. you'll want 4 coppies of Scattershot archer, and making the deck more elf oriented will help. take out Mounted Archers and Elite Archers for 4 Jagged-Scar Archers. Aven Archer should be switched with Silhana Starfletcher, who will help you with mana exel and add another elf to your creatures. Thornweald Archer is one of, if not the best 2 drop archers -- lose D'Avenant Archer and elvish Archer for 4 of those. Turn the Tables is good, but too costly and doesnt go well with the deck strategy -- take them out. well, i could say more, but i feel like i'm writing an essay. well, nice start. i'll probably write up an archer decklist too.
Unmake is better than assassinate, and quetus spike/Temporal Extortion seem to go with the theme of "Half life, Rounded up". Shapeshifters should help you: Cairn Wanderer, Moonglove Changeling, Cemetery Puca, and Skeletal Changeling. And Other fun Black cards with this deck: consuming vapors, Ashen Powder, Corupt, Mutilate, Guul Draz Assassin, Hex, Choice of Damnations, Nightmare Incursion, and Twilight's Call.
Gelatinous Genesis? maybe Hurricane? Definately Oracle of nectars. how about Protien hydra?
no Omnath, Locus of Mana? and Steel Wall is better than wall of wood. Orochi Leafcaller makes your mana every color. Gelatinous Genesis gives you many huge creatures. Decree of Justice is 2 great cards in 1, giving you alot of creatures. Mind spring will give you card advantage. i have a deck like this, could you please check it out: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=67524
no Omnath, Locus of Mana? how about Orochi Leafcaller/Joiner Adept to splash for whatever you want? and for getting mana fast, Evolving Wilds/Terramorphic Expanse wont help much, considering the land comes into play tapped. i have a Green fast mana deck to. please check it out: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=67524
no Omnath, Locus of Mana?
man, your right about Nimbus Wings... i'll try to see what i should take out for them. and, though graceful reprive is good, i dont think it goes with the theme, so i'll leave it out. And i know about fuedkiller's verdict. its so awesome. it is rediculous in my friend's giant deck, which played it on turn five for 2 mana, due to stinkdrinker daredevil. i just threw it in b/c it gives lifegain. thanks for commenting.
nice deck. but the reason to make a knight deck is missing: Kinsbaile Cavalier. it gives all your knights double strike. i'd swap it for cavalry master. but nice deck. i have a night deck too, please check out mine: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=67333
i used to have a B/G fungus deck which did pretty well. your going to need a playset of essence warden, and a playset of Tukatongue Thallid are very handy, because they are fast, fungus, and you dont have to worry about disposing of them -- where as creatures like Thallid you will not want to block with. you will definately need Scoin of the Wild, Pendelhaven, Epic Struggle, and Thelon of Havenwood. i would suggest swapping Nissa's chosen with Thelon of Havenwood, and Joraga Warcaller with Scion of the Wild. i would suggest looking at Folk medicine, Coat of Arms, Thallid Shell-Dweller, Thelonite Hermit, and Elvish harbinger to search for Thelon of Havenwood and the Hermit. i'll right up my decklist at http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=67280.
yes, i no. hence side board. but if you have more creatures of the same type than them -- which you will with mycoloth -- it still helps alot.
ya that looks better.
you might need a bit more low cost creatures, or if not that, a few more mana exelerators. a playset of dragonmaster outcast, Pyroclasm, volcanic fall out, and lightning bolt would help, and atleast one more mountain would too. i dont think Molten Hydra or Destructive Urge will help you much. Dragon tyrant is Ridiculously good, but i dont think you'll be able to play it often. and if u do, its upkeep cost will make it harder to play your other dragons. so i'd suggest taking him out. Predator dragon also is not nearly as good as it usualy is here, because you have no fast, small creatures for it to feed on. so i'd suggest taking him out aswell. dragon blood is good, but i dont think you will be using it's ability to much, given that you will be using all your mana to cast your dragons. so i would take that out. also, you will almost never be able to morph imperial hellkite, so why have it? also, furnace whelp is better than dragon whelp, so make 4x furnace welp and take out dragon whelp. flame wave seems kind of off topic, given that it is a high cost burn spell in a deck that should be using low cost burns to stall so we can play dragons. so i'd suggest taking it out, or replacing it with Pyroclasm or volcanic fall out. Tatsumasa, the Dragon's Fang is very good, but since your dragons are already so big, you would only need it if you could equip as an instant so you could make it deal damage to players. so that limits it to it's dragon ability, which is for 6. so it is essentialy a 5/5 flying for 12 mana. i dont think you will need that. that's all i can think of off the top of my head, i hope i helped.
looks like a nice deck, but there's a few other cards that could realy benefit u: soul fire, elemental mastery, fists on ironwood, lanowar elves, tukatonge thallid and maby furrystoke giant for backup? anayway, nice deck. please check out my G/R devour: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=66559
looks like a nice deck, but a little slow, focusing on your larger devouring creatures. i have a R/G devour deck as well, but it's strength is early game -- regularly pumping out 10/10 thunder-thrash elders on turn three. please check it out: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=66559 Also, some other amazing cards for R/G devour: Tukatongue Thallid, imperious perfect, fists of ironwood, dragon fodder, elemental mastery, soul's fire, Khalni garden, and mosswart bridge.
