this is good, but not as good as it could be. to be honest, giant decks belong in w/r. mainly because of fuedkillers verdict. i have never seen i giant deck loose after playing verdict. in fact, i've seen people concede after my friend dropped two in one turn, thanks to 2 stinkdrinker and 2 rugged praery. but there are some other kick-ass white cards for giants. for example, Jareth, Leonine Titan, true conviction, austere command, and warship. it's also pretty fun to drop in a few stonehewer giant and some swords. hell, if you throw in stonehewer, you might aswell grab argentinium armor and some grappling hook. maybe even loxodon warhammer for more shinnanagins. giant decks also tend to do better with a sub-tribe of warriors. that way you can include a playset of brightheart bannerret. a strange thing about warrior/giant decks is that they do not need one drops. they can opperrate with just stinkdrinkers and brightheart bannerets. if you want to see a really good R/W giant deck, here's a link to my friends one: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=113107

so prettymuch all of the obvious tribes are banned. actualy, i'm surprised giants aren't banned. my friend has a god like giant deck that can easily tear to pieces most of the banned tribal decks you've listed. and would you mind telling me why artificer tribe is banned? i'm curious as to how you could make a kick-ass artificer tribe.
well, i realize i forgot to suggest a few things. Mojin of seeing winds, and some form of cream of the crop + mangus of the future combo. i say some form because there are so many variations of it. magus of the future can be replaced with future sight or garruk's packleader, and cream of the crop can be replaced with sensei's divining top or mirri's guile, and sometimes even oracle of mull daya. in any case, i've dropped that combo turn four and proceded to cast 5 creatures from my library, then dropped kozilek for free. they conceded. XD
if you dont mind me asking, what is so good about ichorid if he is your only black creature? i'd play bloodghast or maybe something else instead. and a one off of wonder might be good. hell, a one off of vengeful Pharo would also be good.
this comment makes me sad. ghave is for 5, pentavis is for 7, ghave turns all of your creatures with +1/+1 counters into more of him because he can remove from anyone and add to anyone. plus, he is a legendary fungus.
oh ya he is! who could expect less from a legendary fungus! and i do likes the look of that there combo....
ghave + Perimiter captain YES. that was completely devoid of grammer, but seriously. YES. anyway, this looks like a fun deck. kinda funny that it's wither control, yet only has 2 wither creatures... and i have no idea why you included ghave + perimiter captain, but honestly, who needs a reson? XD and where is oran-reif, the vastwood? also, why dont you drop a melira or 2 for quillspike?
use their deck. read shared fate. ;)
Goood, Gooooooood..... i've been waiting for someone to make this deck. but i wonder; what will the judges think? o.O
oh, and where in hell is tezzeret's gambit!!!????
....i've been waiting to see this deck for a while, and somehow i missed it!!!! anyway, this looks really cool. i likes it alot. if you could somehow do a ghave + animar deck..... now THAT would be insane. there's my next challenge for you. and maybe i'll make one aswell XD. but on a more serious note, i do beleive noble hierarch is illegal in this deck, because it has a white mana symbol in it. sorry. =( oh, and i'm very surprised you didn't put in bramblewood paragon. now THAT would be funny! and of course rage forger and sage of fables. that would just add alot more fun, and even a bit more synergy, if possible. and possibly tauren Mauler? Great Deck by the way. hope i helped!
to be honest, i was kinda dissapointed by the inclusion of only 10 angels... however, this does look like a good deck. hows about mirror entity? or is it all about flavor...... oh, and you wanted me to tell you how the ghave edh is going. well, i commented on your 150 celebration and gave the link, but i dont think you noticed... either that or you just are to busy looking at everyone elses. =P anyhow, here it is again: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=196866
i could have SWORN i had overrun in here.... idk where it whent.... what do u think i should take out for it?
spelling isn't a strong point of mine. thanks, and i've changed it. =)
alrighty, you said you would like to check out what i have so far on my ghave edh. here it is, and hopefully comment? o.O? http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=196866
WOOHOO! i got another shoutout!! but on a more serious note, congradulations on your 150th. the Ghave EDH is giving me much more trouble than i thought it would. of course, part of that trouble is because i'm a begginner in edh, but also it's just really hard to fit in everything i want to fit in and still have enough ramp to truly abuse ghave's abilities. if you want, i'll try to post the version i'm working with atm and post the link on this here deck. the other problem, of course, is i have been distracted by other things, so while i've been assembling my ghave edh, i've also created a seton, krosan protecter and a jorel, empress of beasts edh. so many things to do, so little time. one of the reasons why i haven't been on the vault in the past few weeks much is because i've been doing alot of testing on MWS.... My favorite card? i havea few favorites. i go through phases where i get entirely obsesed with one card, and then the next minute be hooked on another, so that's a hard question. well, the two cards that will always be in my favorites are ghave, strictly because he's the only legendary fungus and he's in all the fungus colors (i actualy would never put him in a non edh deck, but those two things make him good enough to be a favorite), and Thelon of havenwood (you guessed it), cause he's the lord of fungus. oh, and before i forget.... does anyone live in San Francisco Bay Area? it'd be nice to have a non MWS game with someone at some point. and questions i would ask of you..... 1: when i saw m12 spoilers. my first thought was STANDARD STOMPY NOW. so, how do you think a standard stompy would do, complete with skinshifters, baloths, and companions? 2:So, about a year and a half ago, i saw the card shared fate. imediatly i thought "trap someone inside my deck? that sounds like a prison deck challenge. and i'll exept it." so i made a shared fate deck. this is actualy 2 questions: do you think a shared fate deck could be any good? and would you mind making a shared fate deck? here's mine if you want to see, though i haven't revamped it since it was made originaly..... http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=91435 3: do you have MWS? if so, we should play a game or 2. 4: i've heard you and wumpus talking about your team of 7. i no your the extractor and he's the stomper. so what do the others do? Thanks a ton for being a awe-inspiring and positive presence in the vault. and once again, congrads on 150!
goblin fireslinger and/or gutshot could be helpful.
i no, and i beleive that is definately stompy. but it's neglection in this deck made me doubt that for a second....
i feel realy stupid asking this, but is skinshifter stompy?
This looks like quite alot of fun. but what about temporal extortion? that seems really good for this deck, allong with damnation. and definitely syphon life and maybe runed servitor to pay for all the sac. cards, while still getting both draws. hope i helped!
