Umm... You do realize you can click the boxes beside the card names and type in values to make the cards "stack"? Wow, this is big... Where to begin, where to begin. Oh. WHY is it so big, LOL?! The land count makes it somewhat unplayable (2/6 hands I drew had suitable land draw). Admittedly, though, for such a big deck, it's got a decent curve, oddly. Just not enough land, in my opinion. Possibly toss in some Drowned Catacombs to help the mana train along, or even some Darkslick Shores (pick your poison). as for the rest, I can't figure out if it was an attempt at Singleton or EDH. Try to condense the list, please. Very hard to go over it all.
Oracle of Mul Daya + Rampaging Baaloths + Garruk's Horde + Scion of the Wild. Long list, a good bit of mana to get out, but damn wouldn't it be worth it. Almost as fun as Followed Footsteps + Rampaging Baaloths.
Considered it, and it's a wee bit expensive and mana-heavy for a dual deck, even in multiplayer format. Possibly sideboard item, though.
Yes, all that broad, smooth porcelain and tight, slimy muscle tissue. How could anyone else even put up resistance?
Baclava, hands down. And yes, it counts, they're all pastries.
*points to the Birthing Pod, Forgemaster, Quicksilver Amulet* If that doesn't help, I will let Awz? do tha talkin'.
Myr or Spirits. HELL, Vampires.
Tezzeret's Gambit, anyone? Not only does it give you two cards, but you can also proliferate (which applies to the poison you wish to inflict, or even the wish counters on your Djinn). Very few lands as well, not sure how great that'll run. One last thing: Training Grounds. I guess the only problem with it, however, is that it truly only affects the Djinn.
Be careful, your deck name is perilously close to "Beiber". I wouldn't want to be in that boat. LOL, joking aside, fairly basic deck, though not sure if it is classified as "Control", per se. The most controlling factor you have is 8 counters, not very intimidating in a blue deck. I see it as much more of a Mill format, what with the Memory Adept, the Archivists and Jace's Erasure. Best I can suggest in that case is to pass the infect out, sub in some Mesmerists to up the ante, and a lot more card draw to activate Erasure. Of course, you remove the infect, might as well toss the Drakes, they're not of much help in that case. Last word of advice, my friend, is the Commander enchantment. Commander is not Tourney-viable, and in most formats (excluding Commander), is actually banned. Possibly Dissipation Field to sub in for it?
Gimme a minute to wrap my mind around "Gravespawn Sovereign, Creature - Zombie Knight Illuson Lord". Daaaaaaaaaamn. Hmmm, as for suggestions, I'm fairly sure you covered all the bases for Lords, but you could use a Tutor or two to help find the Xenografts, or even some Ponders to do some digging.
Hey, thanks for the Holy Relic tip, joel.
Hmm. Pauper only and infect... 1. Plague Stinger - 2 drop, 1/1 flying infect. Believe it or not, this little bugger will help almost as much as your Blighted Agents. 2. Unsummon vs. Vapor Snag - Same thing, but Vapor Snag tims them for one, which more likely than not will do to piss off any opponent. In other words, a great play. 3. Virulent Wound - I like Virulent Wound, but it really only helps against one-drops or tokens, depending on what you're playing against. I have much the same issue with Gitaxian Probe, since it's there mainly to draw. And Cancel..... Let's not discuss Cancel. Suggestions: Though it's a bit of a slower play, Grim Affliction is a neat little card with a proliferate attached onto it. Sam thing with Steady Progress, which I prefer to Gitaxian Probe in this case. Into the Roil also would be a neat card to have in here, at least sideboarded. Tempo and card advantage... Good combination on a common. I'll let you know if I can think of anything else, but overall, cool deck, and I wish you the best in your game.
LOL do I sense sarcasm? xD
Darn, how much is she where you are? My local card shop had them .99$ apiece. Snagged a playset and off I went.
Oy, Skinrender's no vampire! Surprised to see no Sangromancer in here, she'd fit in perfectly.
You missed a rare somewhere in there.
He's a bit more expensive, but worth it in a green ramp/bfc deck: Roughshod Mentor. Another route to go would be with the Bellowing Tanglewurm for Intimidate instead of Trample. Then again, if you keep to the trample, you can also employ Tanglesap, a nasty little card, basically Fog on dope. As long as your creatures retain trample, they still deal damage to the player and his minions, while your creatures get off scot-free. Last thing, you're trying to keep mana cost low in a green deck?!? Forgive me if that strikes me as odd, it just really seems strange to me, no offense meant.
I guess I just have really bad luck with the draws, because I'm either getting too much of the wrong mana, or too much mana no enchantments. Does look pretty cool though, and I still think it'd benefit from having some basic angels alongside it to aid in defense during the early stages. Watch out for burn decks, as well, they'll eat you alive as you try to accumulate mana. Speaking of mana, I notice no ramping capabilities in this deck, though it includes green. Maybe some Khalni Heart Expeditions to go along with the enchantment theme, or just some basic Rampant Growths?
First off, welcome back NightAngel, been a while. Now, on to the deck. This kicks ass for a legacy Illusion deck, honestly. I have one minor issue, however. Xenograft. It's a great card when you're trying to achieve a tribal format without having the tribe present to show for it, but here you have a full menagerie of Illusions. Only Meloku and LotU need it, and that's kind of iffy in and of itself. I'd say, switch the Xenograft for either another Automaton to buff up your critters more, or another Phantasmal Image. Mental Misstep I like, effective versus early stage Hawkward, though at most I see it as sideboard material. Possibly some Vapor Snags in place of them to really piss off opponents. Sleep would also be a great bonus for this deck, just to lock their board for a phase so you can set in and commit to pillaging. Cool deck, man, and glad to see you online again. (Oh, and for another way to use LotU and Xenograft, check out my Simic Myrllusions deck. A wee bit mean.)
