Not with the amount of rats you have. Sure they could chump block 9/10ths of them, but the ones they didnt would kill them. And it keeps them from doing a lot of kIll spells on your rats. Besides, You would only be playing it 1 or 2 turns before you annihilate them anyway.

Would Eldrazi Monument be better than Akroma's Memorial? It would make you Sac a rat each turn, But to be honest, With that many huge ass rats with flying and indestructable, if you cant kill them in three turns....You will never be able to kill them.
Just a thought.

At first, i thought you were full of shit...Then i looked at every one of those. Jesus d00d...You were right. Useless in every way.

Now i want to make a deck with all of them...and find SOME way to make it playable. Im not sure its possible, but imma give it a try :)

d00d...Give Torpid Moloch some Love! He is SO not useless....Hes seriously good for Quick Defense. with just land draws, You can get 3 of them out on the second turn....It may not be amazing, but for casual play, Having 3 2/3s out on turn 2 isnt bad.

Her ability doesnt suck, far from it. Shes just different...Her ability you have to plan around, Its not overpowered from the start like a lot of cards that have fallen victim to Power Creep.

Nix is VERY close to being useless, but not quite.
My vote would go to "Rath's Edge"
"Tap, Add 1 to your mana pool.
4, Tap, Sacrifice a land: Rath's Edge deals 1 damage to target creature or player."

1. Its Legendary, So you can only have ONE.
2. You have to Sac a Land, an only get 1 Damage in return for it.
3. It Costs 4...For that kind of Mana you could toss a Lava Spike, for 3 damage.
4. Its only adds Colorless
5. It has to Tap to do its LandSac for Damage thing....So its typically a once per turn use thing.
6. Its a Rare, So if you did find something usefull about this, It would be hard to find.

Thoughts?

Ok since nobody has been able to tell me WHY its a Bad Deck....Then lets move on to the next question. Why would this be a Joke? It works...Thats all that a deck needs to do. I could toss 40 green cards into a deck, give it 20 lands, and it would WORK. 99% chance that it will Suck, but a 100% chance that it will also Work.

Why is this deck any kind of Joke? If i dont get any answers, Im just going to assume you people are all a bunch of moronic trolls, hit myself for falling for it, and move on.

If by "Nice Equilibrium" you mean "Infinite Anal Rape", then yes, you are correct. ;)

Why is this even a comment? I dont see anybody complain when somebody makes an Elf deck thats disgustingly overpowered....Whats the big deal with this one? Its a Deck for Fun....Not a hard concept! It breaks no rules, and is not intended to play in any Tournament.....

What i really hate is when someone just tosses money out and POOF, has a good deck. I had a friend who looked up an awesome deck, payed 1400 bucks for it, and acted like he was the god of all MTG. Just to prove to him that its his deck and not him, we made a deal. I said that if i could have any card i wanted, He would never win another game. He took the bet. So i printed out Proxies of a 0 turn kill (Hulk Flash) and proceeded to destroy him in 10 straight games, none of them lasting longer then 2 turns. It. Was. Glorious!

Which is why when i make a deck, I just ignore the sideboard. If im going to put anything in it, i just put in what i need and cant be arsed to fill it. I know its lazy, but i only put in what i NEED, i can toss in more copies of cards already in the deck if i need to fill it.

Right you are raginggoblin. In fact you usually learn more from a loss than a win, by quite a bit.

So, i do have a question....All my MTG career i have been using 20 lands...exactly 1/3 of the deck. Is this not optimal? Its how i was taught and seems to work for me, but im just curious...Have i been screwing up that bad for this many years?

Dark Ritual would work, but that would only speed it up a couple turns. Personally, Id add 4 tutors of some kind that search for any card, 2 Coat of Arms to make it so that even if you only have 4 or 5 rats out, they would be huge, and 4 Dark Rituals so you can be sure to play a rat AND one of the trump cards both in the same turn.

Only if its a Vintage/Legacy tournament...And those don't happen too very often. They used to happen all the time, but then decks like this started showing up, Ones that could kill within the first two turns....So Wizards came up with Standard, which is what the vast majority of Sanctioned Tournaments are now. If you can find a Private Tournament that allows Vintage/Legacy, that would be awesome.

I know a few hundred people who play MTG...Two of them play commander, and nobody else wants to. It just seems like a clunky, half realized game concept to me.

I wish there were more of these on MTG Vault. Getting new players involved can be a problem if the deck that they are starting with is too complicated. I love a simple, but solid deck. +37 Points.

The whole idea is to get Emrakul out as quick as possible.....And since he can't be countered, What will Cancel do at all? You could stop as much as 4 spells with it, but he has enough of everything in the deck that just stopping 4 wont stop Emrakul. Sure, it slows to a crawl when playing a deck full of Counter spells....But that wont kill the deck, It just makes it take more turns.
