Can't say am a big fan of Auralia or Obzedat in this deck. I would consider creatures with more flexible costs. Maybe Blood Baron and Stormbreath instead or even an elspeth if you have one to spare. I also like Assemble the Legion as a threat that is hard to answer once resolved.

Right now...yeah. I wouldn't bother with psychic spiral.
Thanks! Ill check out your build.
Yeah...blessing has been booted. I replaced it with the sovreigns. they will do for now. Good call.
I am actually testing it with a pair of Necromancers now. The insurance against wrath is awesome. I didn't like ajani though. =/
I included black almost exclusively for blood baron. It is pretty darned awesome. Also, without that extra touch of black, this deck is easily wrecked by a resolved stormbreath.
What he said. Baron is good all by his lonesome.
Try the experiment. It is pretty fast and its hard to kill.
Its a good bomb against other control. Especially sphinx revalation decks that draw huge numbers of cards.
Thanks for the advice. I'll try out the Ajani's chosen and see how I like it. I have been thinking about tossing I, the gates, but so far I haven't tried it. As far as the switch around, the reason for not main boarding the thoughseize is mainly a style choice. I want to be able to function as an aggro deck right out of the gate and then be able to go into stabalize mode after boarding if I need to.
Gideon has some possibilities, but I haven't had a chance to see him in action. Since your playing control opportunity really isn't as bad as it looks. You van just keep all the mana free and then cast it if you still have the mana available on their end step. Its like drawing five cards for your turn! Boris Charm is great. Not only does it save permenants, but it also smacks them or a planeswalker up side the head for 4 damage or gives an 8/1 aetherling double strike. It really is hard to beat. It can also fish out removal if you don't leave any blue mana up yo flicker aetherling.
You don't have any experiment ones? I'll see what I have.
Getting a good board state developed only to see a supreme verdict always sucks.
Thanks for the comment! Gift of Orzhova was in the original cut of the deck, but I took it out pretty quickly. It just doesn't have the same punch as many of the other three drops (all of which provide at least double white for devotion anyways).
Boros Charm or Rootborn Defense to thwart removal....
Rootborn defenses may save the day for you if your playing in a tournament setting. Soooo much removal!
A friend of mine runs a deck very similar to this and it works great! I do not, however, have any really good suggestions that would not set you back some dough. My only thought here that is budget is to maybe toss in some boros charms instead of magma jet and you should probably drop divination of opportunity. If you can scrape together about $15 I would consider of grabbing at least a pair of Jace Memory Adept and a pair of prognostic sphinx. That would be a strong win con to back up Aetherling (if it gets a pithing needle or a slaughter games you're toast). Assemble the legions is another good bomb, but it too will cost a few dollars to grab (~$3 apiece or so).
I like the idea, but Vraska and mutavault, while decent, really dont seem like enough. Maybe use Liliana's ramp to dish out major damge with a volcanic geyser or rakdos return?
Opportunity seems weak here. If the game runs that long you will most likely be on the way out already. I would remove those and add more creatures or enablers. Maybe another Spear or Bident (if the draw is really all that important).
Insted of trying to race control (which is pretty hard right now) I would use more resilient creatures. I like Fleecemane for this build a lot. Experiment One would be good too.
