Maybe Vesuva too, run 16-post.

See, Soul's right. Even if you're restricting yourself to JUST old cards (for whatever reason, maybe it is some attempt at boycotting power creep, but w/e) you're missing out on some amazing white cards that you really should be using.ex:Land Tax, Mother of Runes, STP, Wrath, Moat, Balance, Orim's Chant, True Believer, Story Circle, Enlightened Tutor. And don't even get me started on lands. You have fetches available to you, karakas, wasteland, strip mine, etc.Do you want it vintage legal? Do you want it vintage competitive? See, you're restricting yourself to 'old cards,' but then further restricting yourself to a lousy subset of those cards, there's only so much help we can provide. I mean, even lousy casual decks don't start off with the ideal hand as: 'play a land, play a land' for the first 2 turns.
And with the prevalence of fetches in Modern, a trickster can easily be a 3/3 on turn 3. And, against almost anything except jund, there will be some kind of regular library manipulation. I don't know if it is worth running 4 tricksters, but it can be a solid card.
Mirran/Phyrexian Crusader are both really strong, as is Stillmoon Cavalier. You might also want to opt for Damnation/Wrath of God in place of Unmake as your removal source. If everything is going well, you'll have Haakon in the grave, and you'll be able to replay all of your creatures before your opponent can rebuild. Nameless Inversion is also AMAZING with Haakon, as you can spam it as often as you need.I hate it when people do this, but this might provide a different perspective:I have a very similar deck but splashed some green to run Alurenhttp://www.mtgvault.com/vikingincarnate/decks/bgw-haakon-aluren-knights/Which makes the deck much, much faster and opens up all kinds of possibilities.
There is almost no reason to run Emma when Avacyn is still in standard.
+1'd. Laughed heartily.
You don't need the Ivy Lane Denizen. It doesn't really help you. What format are you trying to be legal in? Rofellos could help you out pretty well, as well as Vorinclex and Prime Time.I'm also not sure why you'd run Primal Surge over something like Genesis Wave. The wave hits the battlefield earlier, and helps you win faster. Sure it may mean that you need to drop a few of your excessively large creatures, but it would allow you to run more small ramp-type creatures, which would help ensure that you have more playable cards in your hand at the crucial beginning of the game.
Before you do anything else: get it down to 60 cards. Seriously. If you're going to try to win by giving your opponent card advantage, you best be making the most of it, or you will be steamrolled. Consider options such as Spiteful Visions or including blue and running Forced Fruition or Jin G. Even things like Howling Mine can help your deck out.Right now your curve is really top-heavy, and even with the rituals, you're really at risk against aggro decks. It would probably be worth shaving some of your expensive creatures off the top and taking more cheap creatures. Even something as simple as Vampire Nighthawk would give you enough board position to breathe before your combos start to work.
I'd drop 2 Tricksters and 2 islands for 4 aether vial. The speed from the vial makes up for the land loss, and, even if you play in a search-heavy meta, I don't think you'd be losing much with the Tricksters.
Sixty.Sixty.Sixty.Please.
Kinsbaile Cavalier could help you round out your mana curve, as well as grant you double strike, which is awesomesauce.Plus.Midget on goat.how funny is that?
Cursed scroll has become obsolete in the current Legacy meta, but when it was released, most every deck used it. It is far from 'crap'. repeatable 2 targeted damage every turn in aggro decks like this that can play out their hand in a few turns is pretty useful. Turns every topdeck into damage, and you can still have enough mana to play whatever it is.
How theoretical is this deck? Do you want to make it legacy-competitive?
The Dreadnaught is not Modern Legal. Something similar could be Force of Savagery?
haha, I didn't even know 'Kaboom' was a card. I was more referring to the Act absolutely obliterating a player if it hits the battlefield.
Blasphemous Act.Kaboom.
It might be worth running 2x supreme verdict and some number of Leyline of Sancity
Muraganda Petroglyphs
Spirit Link >> Lifelink. The difference is huge.
What about including Eye of the storm and Pact of Negation and its ilk? That gives you the ability to lock other players down with Dominion (as the epic trigger hits them too) and/or gives you another win condition with the pacts. Eye of the Storm is a bit expensive, but if you're running Ms. Jhoira, she can offset the cost a bit.
