Why not just build a boggles deck?
Slippery boggles and gladecover scout are much better options than MoR or orni.

That's fine and all, just saying you'd be better off using more walkers instead of a waste of a turn.

The same way every single pro player or logical player does...
You're wasting your entire turn to do nothing...
On top of that besides 4x path you have 0 ways to interact with other decks game plans...

It's too expensive, too slow and not a good enough effect, at 2 mana it would be OKAY, still not great, but okay.

In other words, you're playing a deck that needs to stabilize, and not giving yourself the proper time to do so...

Yeah I just feel with shaper having counters like cryptic and ruse would be too taxing on the manabase.
So going to goyfs and reshapers would need me to slightly overhaul the manabase.
(reshapers will mostly be hit by company, but still need filter lands and that new mana confluence to cast them)

I feel this deck has a few solid ways to build it:
Combo: which is the way you built it.
midrange value company(how I built it)
midrange control

obviously creatures and spells will change from person to person, but the idea should stay the same.
KotR while its nice to combo out, unlike the creatures from twin, it's strong by itself and doesn't NEED to combo out to win.
I could easily see having smiters, voices or pridemages along with misc other 1-3 drop creatures in these colours.

Even having some discard would help greatly vs some decks.

I feel wurm is just a wasted slot that could be an extra commune or a counter spell.
Plague should just be the 4th copy of illness.

Besides that great deck good sir.

It's fine for a budget, you're just losing a lot of value on lands and spells because of it...
not much some of us can tell you without bumping the cost of the deck.

http://www.mtgvault.com/viagrasaurusrex/decks/eternal-knights-of-coralhelm/

mine is less about going big and more about value town.
can still combo out, just may also win with other beats.

I feel after Oath of the gatewatch launch I will change the deck and manabase around to fit 3-4x matter reshaper

http://www.mtgsalvation.com/cards/oath-of-the-gatewatch/26320-matter-reshaper

At that point may remove the crabs for goyfs and see how competitive the deck can be:P

Call of the gatewatch is a terrible card, do yourself favor and don't use it outside of maybe commander to grab ugin.

I think I may want to make a similar deck but also include coco and familiar's ruse combo.
I will make it tomorrow sometime, I feel you'll like it.

Honestly not a bad idea for a deck, but if you're going to get full value from rally in a timely manner you may want some form of self mill...
This could come from either a blue or green splash.
On top of that disruption always helps so you don't just fold to combo or control.
Going blue would also give you phantasmal image which can act as blood artist 9-12

Just some thoughts.

Thinker that was more aimed at puca asking how it was fragile rather than your ability to create decks.
Magic needs creative minds, while not every deck you make will be a gem(like any of us) people like you who dare to think outside the box are the reason magic stays fun.

Even just recently two great decks have emerged in modern thanks to minds like yours (Eldrazi processor and knight of coralhelm combo). And if budget is ever an issue you can always test it out in a non budget build on xmage or cockatrice.

I was watching this deck get some love on twitch, he was just wrecking deck after deck.
Obviously there where some changes like no bring to light and QTYs.

Was a pretty sweet 2 card combo, fetch lands make it much better and faster(more triggers etc)
But that also increases the budget by a bit:P.

Depends on the kind of control deck you're going for, you can also always have more wipes in the board for the matchups you really need them for.

I really feel it needs more basics so it doesn't just lose to blood moon or back to basics...
That being said to do that cost effectively isn't really an option and I don't expect you to go dish out 2k in lands to make the 5C deck work perfectly:P

Mindcrank?
goes infinite with duskmantle guildmage and works with any damage you or others do.

So lets look at this from a modern standpoint.

The combo needs a 4 card soft lock to be in place.
So this means your opponents need to do almost nothing to allow you to get the lock going.

The creatures you're going to be attacking with to slowly win the game aren't exactly beefy, so dealing 1-3 damage a turn gives your opponent tons of time to draw answers.
"but they can't cast spells you say"
That isn't true, they can kill abolisher on their turn, and they can kill oriss in response to the grandeur trigger.
While it will stop them for that turn, it will only slow them down from winning.

All your creatures(besides street wraith) die to literally any instant speed removal...
On top of that this deck is ALSO weak to graveyard hate which is fairly abundant in modern.

It's just a really fragile combo, it's better to stick to 2 card combos like knight of the reliquiary + retreat to coralhelm or the more common ones like splinter twin etc.
Even those decks have MUCH more room for disruption and protection.

Don't get me wrong it's a nest idea, just fragile and a 4 card soft lock.
