Damn, that grindstone/painter combo is spiffy. Does the sapphire work well with only traumatize? Definitely needs some sideboard with instant graveyard removal for those pesky Eldrazi people love to sideboard just for mill. Overall it seems like a very focused and quick mill deck.

Looks like fun
I'm sure it has, it just never occurred to me. I focused too much on giving away harmful things, not taking something useful.
It is looking much better though.
4 fiends, 3-4 spitfires. 1-2 servants if you're dead set on having them at all and only 1 or 2 titans. That will give you a better curve for your creatures. Add 2-4 Arc Runners if you can't afford ball lightning. Pyromancer's ascension seems nice but it's too slow. Staggershocks too. Get rid of them. Replace Prodigal Pyros with Cunning Sparkmages, it's basically the same thing for the same cost but they have haste. Those changes would give you a faster deck but I guess I'm just turning it into a RDW. If you want it titan based, I dunno... Pyretic rituals to speed things up I suppose. Red fetchlands are always a plus if you can afford them.
Ooh, I like that trader combo. Never even thought of it.
Fireball instead of heat ray if you're going that route. Staggershock is alright, but pretty slow. Lava Axe is bad, if you want a more versatile spell still capable of dealing 5 damage try Unstable Footing. I'm not huge on Chandra's Outrage either. Burst Lightning is another nice quick spell that can be boosted, albeit for a heavy cost. Add Fling. Fling a pumped titan with a servant on the field for ridiculous, game-winning damage. I like Pyretic Rituals to speed things up a turn when you need it. Or hold onto them and sneak the Titan out a couple turns early. I'd personally drop the Nalaars and a Servant for three Kiln Fiends.
It's a decent combo, but scry cards and halimar depths perform that function pretty well with the concentration of creatures in this deck without having to splash a color.
I'd cut a land or two and add rats in their place. Pretty standard relentless deck. They always sound like a fun idea but in practice they're somewhat lackluster.
I like both, but I figured deprive would be good all game long and potentialy gives me another halimar depths drop if I need it. Mana Leak is much quicker though since it doesn't set you back a land drop. I'm going to try both once I get around to building this.
I dig it. If I wasn't trying to be standard legal with my version I'd definitely use some of the cool older monsters of the deep.
I have 4 Inkwells in there, but they show up under artifact instead of creature.
Burning Inquiry with Underworld Dreams and/or Kederekt Parasite(plus a red permanent) and Megrim/Liliana's Embrace on the field is a nice way to drop a bomb. If you wanted to put some red in that is. Slavering Nulls, Hellfire Mongrel are good fits for that type of deck. Not to mention Blightning. It would only be standard legal for a few months but it could be pretty cool.
There's a cheaper version of Megrim coming out with M11. Liliana's Caress. Basically the same card for one less mana.
Sphinx of Jwar Isle. I feel like the shroud gives me breathing room. Wnstead of using counter magic to protect my creature I can use it to disrupt the opponent and protect myself. I do have a few Goliaths and Magisters I wanted to work into decks though.
They are there because I needed something more. One Wrex just felt like too little and there's always the chance I wouldn't pull him, or even a tutor in time. The deck I use does need some revamping though... or maybe I just need more experience playing control haha. The Nighhawks are a little costly on the black side but they usually serve me pretty well. I should probably throw telepathy in mine too. I use to use it a lot but for some reason I haven't worked it in a deck in awhile. I would love to use snap, that card seems incredible, but I play standard mostly.
Cinder Pyromancer untaps whenever you cast red spells and has the same function as Cunning Sparkmage and the Stingers. They are the same mana cost as well.
I love the flavor or ornithopter for ninjas too. Silent airship swooping in and a ninja repels down from it to attack! haha
I have a blue/black deck that features a Wrexial. I only have one though. I use most forms of counterspells, some bounce, ponders and two or three sphinx of jwar isle for my blue. Discard in the form of inquisition of kozilek and perish the thought for black and a few Vamp nighthawks for good measure. I also threw in Spreading seas to mess up their early game, card drawing and to ensure wrexial can do his thing if he comes out to play. I tried a version with contaminated ground as well but it seemed too much of a similar function.
Cunning Sparkmages might be a decent alternative to the stingers. Same mana cost and they have haste, but no unearth. I don't know of any good special lands for red aside from valakut and even that is a bit slow. There are two from zendikar block but they are creature based. Teetering peaks has +2/+0 when comes into play. Smoldering Spires has target creature can't block this turn... nothing too great.
