I think your main worry is going to be ratchet bomb. O ring and leak might be enough to cover it, but you may want to sideboard other options.

I personally like the U/G self-mill into aggro with things like Wreath of Geists and Boneyard Wurm.
Rampant Growth, definitely. I have a buddy who runs a similar build, and threw Inkmoth in there as a secondary win-con with Kessig, or just to chump block a flyer if he really needs to.
Havengul Runebinder looks nuts with Grimgrin.
Not sure which sorcery you're talking about--there isn't anything like that in DA, that I know of. Maybe you're thinking Ghostway? That card's from 2006, and an instant. Neither it nor Venser is worth splashing white here, IMO, but Helvault might be a fun addition over Mimic Vat.
Well then, I'm a big old dummy. :-) Thanks for catching that, lol.
Is it sad that I'm looking forward to people getting all butthurt over this deck making it to the "upcoming" page because of a discussion about Elbrus? :-)
I would think so, citing the fact that the "flip" cards in the Kamigawa set can be used as generals. Too bad you wouldn't be able to Orzhov that one up, though: Stoneforge/ Outfitter with Elbrus? GEEZ.
Awesome call--even better, it now makes all creature cards in my graveyards fungi for Thelon's ability.
Newbe: I hope you appreciate the irony your name brings to this situation. ;-) I actually really dig the differentiation between a card's color and it's color identity. I've been wanting to find a search engine that allowed you to sort by color identity--this would be super handy in deck-building, especially for lands.
I finally built this the other day, and have had TONS of fun with it. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=139643
Sweet deck--I've thought about trying something like this myself. A few cards I would suggest: Sunscape Familiar Wall of Denial Simic Sky Swallower Even without these, it's a pretty awesome deck.
Awesome deck, I built a similar one awhile ago: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=136250
Wirewood Pride and Lodge would be the two I'd consider here. Pretty awesome build, though.
Burning Inquiry is pretty ridiculous with Bloodchief Ascension or Mindcrank, or even together with BloodCrank. I would also think about smallpox in here.
I really like that idea, though I feel like that would be a completely different EDH deck. I've toyed around with the idea of doing a R/B flanking deck to go against my G/W one.
...Can't tell if trolling or doesn't know about EDH...
Not an awful idea, though I feel like it might end up hurting me more, because I don't have a ton of creatures to block with.
Haha, would work, except Heavyweight only lets your opponents search. It's still no joke having a Goliath, Heavyweight, and Behemoth out, though, lol. Especially if Brion is there to fling them. :-)
Some versiobn of this might be useable soon in standard with Dark Ascension's Undying mechanic.
