Why do you need Haakon? Couldn't you just use Aluren to play knights form your graveyard for free without Haakon? Other than that, I like the idea, and its a great deck.

I wouldn't use Fabricate or Spellbook.

First, not just Force of Will and Swords to Plowshares wreck this deck. The stuff in this deck dies to black removal, green flying hate, and even red direct damage hits the smaller angels. Second, if you meant for it to be casual, you should have said that somewhere. I mean, it says Vintage in the title, so I assumed that you were goin to be using it in Vintage. Third, the reason that I didn't post anything constructive was that this deck has the amazing angels from the timeframe that you want to work with. It just that those cards are not as good as the cards from today. If you want good suggestions for white angels or white lifegain, I'll list you them below. Sorry that they are almost all less than a decade old.

So if you just dropped that stupid rule about not wanting to use cards from this half of the existence of Magic, you would have way more options. What is the point of that rule?

The only thing that I think you could to to salvage this deck would be removing your baseless hatred of all of the amazing cards printed in the past 10 years. Otherwise, this deck sucks. I did the sample hand 6 times, and the only time I got a creature out before turn 4 was when I played Angelic Page. Even with the dream hand that you showed above you couldn't get any creatures out before turn 4. This is assuming that nobody plays any countermagic, creature removal, or lockdown effects. In Vintage you'd have lost by the time you landed a creature, and even if you hadn't, your opponent would use Force of Will on your Urza's Incubator and Swords to Plowshares on your creatures. Same goes for Legacy. Trash this deck, or add some newer cards.

Sapphire Drake and Crowned Ceratok would help this deck. Also, with only two cards that copy things, 2 biovisionaries are pointless.

This is perfect and it is functional. I don't like it. It works so perfectly, that it just doesn't seem like much fun. Also, I wouldn't ever spend over 1000 dollars on a magic deck.

I'm pretty sure that that isn't how it works. You are casting it from outside the game, so it should follow normal rules. If that was the rule, they would say so when listing he rulings for Spawnsire of Ulamog, Burning Wish, and the like.

Also, really, why did you vote down my post? Just because it involved using 200 Kozileks which I don't own and probably will never own? Seriously, most of the decks on this site are made out of cards that people don't own. And you cannot prove that I will never in my life own the 200 kozileks necessary for this.

You get in 200 kozileks, they all die because of the legend rule, and they are all shuffled into your library. Your library is now over 200 cards.

Needs Dark Ritual

I think you should add Wight of Precinct Six, Mind Crank, and Necrotic Ooze. Also, replace Vapor Snag and Silent Departure with Go For the Throat and Doom Blade, they work much better with Jace's Phantasm, Gruesome Encore, Duskmantle Guildmage, and Guiltfeeder.

Needs either more counterspells or removal. I tried the sample hand 20 times and I only got a counterspell 10 times and out of those, I only got more than 1 counterspell 3 times. This deck dies to everything.

They were bit on the expensive side, and somebody did the math and against a normal deck they only mill around 9 cards. I replaced them with the new breaking/entering.

I've completely revamped this deck, it was a bit out of my price range before but now I'm buying it.

You can't have 2 of one card. You have 2 Mazes of Ith in your sideboard.

Is there anyway to dislike a deck on this site?
