Best deck name ever.

The purpose is me wanting to get to the point at which I can see what the metagame would be and what would be viable. If it is something that I like, I might host an event on MTGO for it.
Beck // Call didn't work, I am going to try out Tireless Tribe.
Past in Flames is now banned, ban list updated.
Thanks for the advice, I am trying out more Golgari Thugs, Beck // Call, and Lotleth Troll instead of the extra lands and Drowned Rusalka.
Doesn't fit (fortunately, the deck would have to be banned even more otherwise). i think that I will need to put Past in Flames on the banned list unfortunately.
The deck seems to cost too much life, any ideas on how I could fix that?
I have a feeling that this might break the turn 4 rule, so Past in Flames, Burning Wish, or Grapeshot might need to be banned.
Have been, just using my other list (no money for Glimpse and Liliana). It has been doing alright, but I still think that it won't do well until I have fetchlands, Goyf, Ooze, and Abrupt Decay. Thanks for the link.
I'd run Maelstrom Pulse or Abrupt Decay over Putrefy. I'd also add more dual lands.
Nice deck, but it isn't legal in any format due to the 4 Demonic Tutors in the sideboard.
Yeah, Griselbrand will be going back in there to replace Terastodon as soon as I can get a hold of him.
Since I realized that I can't afford Reflecting Pool, Griselbrand, and Breeding Pool, there have been some changes to the deck that I think work just as well. I also have replaced Compulsive Research with Unburial Rites and I am liking the change.
Usually, it is easy to cascade, research, or thirst on turn 2 off of Simian Spirit Guide. And you can always cast Breaking. A deck doesn't need to do anything for the first few turns if it can turn the game right around on turn 3.
I have been thinking about Beast Within, I will try out Compulsive Research or maindeck Jund Charm instead. If I had Liliana of the Veil, I'd use her.
Yeah. I once managed to get a 52/52 Baloth Woodcrasher in casual with it, but I still managed to lose when my opponent sacrificed all of his lands to a Zuran Orb and then attacked with a massive Ageless Entity equipped with a Behemoth Sledge next turn. Good times, good times.
I believe that Amulet of Vigor can be powerful, it just usually needs more cards that search for tapped lands. And the reason why I thought that you should have more lands isn't because you might run out from land search, it is so you can consistently get landfall. Overall, it seems like a fun deck. If only Collective Voyage was Modern legal, this deck would be great.
Summer Bloom should be replaced with Explore.Crucible of Worlds has no place maindeck. If you insist on keeping it there, I'd suggest adding Ghost Quarter and Tectonic Edge.Amulet of Vigor rarely does anything, there are only a few cards that make lands enter the battlefield tapped in this deck and some of those (like Scapeshift) should win you the game if you play them. This is a landfall deck. There is no reason to be running only 20 lands.Golgari Guildgate is necessary if you are on a budget.Scrib Nibblers is a useless card. It should not be taking up sideboard slots.I'd find a way to move the 2 sideboard Primal Commands to the mainboard and add in singleton a Primeval Titan and Avenger of Zendikar.I'd also try adding in Eternal Witness, it allows you to repeatably cast Primal Command while searching for more Eternal Witnesses and doing another one of the Command's functions.Good luck!
Konda is worse than Avacyn, Angel of Hope. I'd cut Dosan for two more Captain Sisay and Tolsimir for another Time of Need. You also need more than 20 lands and some ramp if you ever want to actually be able to cast the expensive guys. There is no way that you will ever be casting Emrakul with only Omnath and 20 lands.
I think that you need some ways to protect Shirei and a little more digging. Other than that, I really like this deck.
