Curses. If you cast Zhur, use lots of curses. With ones like the Curse of Misfortunes and the Curse of Thirst, you will be able to help damage of your opponent without having to hit them!

Yeah, that'll really slow your opponent! Using a card like Consuming Aberration could really do some damage in that combo
It happened on another deck that he was on I do believe
Besides, most control decks are now just stall until you can play AEtherling!
Stalling can be just as effective

Ok. First: Swap out Tamiyo for Ashiok a) Standard's rotated b) Ashiok is better (personally, at least) Second: Find a sub for anything Innistrad, 'cos standard's rotated Third: Less Architect, more Memory Adept! Enjoy
It stops their creature for a turn AND you draw a card. Which could be a kill spell
