So the lantern is not necessary in any 2 color deck, 3 or more colors it is almost a lock. The beacon would just be a one shot in this deck for the most part, at least I could get more than one use out of the reclamation. I will actually agree with you about the leyline, especially seeing as there is one player that you know very well in our playgroup that has a bad habit of gaining life with his current deck, the only problem is that I don't have that leyline. The goblin fireslinger is good, I see no reason to have flayer in the deck there is only one card that recurs creatures and it just brings them back to my hand. Taking the last sentence into consideration, if you take all of the points in your comment as a whole then it does make sense to use the flayer but I am trying to break them down individually. Mikaeus and living end don't do very much for me because I don't have many ways to sac the creatures I do have and why would I want to anyhow they are huge, plus I have not run into any deck that is heavy on removal but if I were to run into a deck that had lots of removal it would be nice to have such cards in the deck. The lord is decent, this deck is not a mill deck at heart but beating face with another players creatures could be fun. Bladewing is worthless in this deck, I am wondering if you meant to mention another card. As for the winds, that card is a 100% lock for this deck, I don't ever want to run out of steam or cards in hand because after dealing damage it's necessary to have a creature in hand to play at a reduced cost. People hate kaervek, I rather keep it in the deck so that players try to deal with him before they deal with my XL critters.

Thanks for taking the time to leave such a detailed comment, I will leave something on here later about individual card choices you have decided on.
Thank you for your comment on the Karn deck, I did some research after leaving the first few comments and found that he might actually be correct according to I guess it was a forum on the official mtg website. So I decided not to leave any additional comments, but now I am glad you had knowledge about that site so I think it cleared things up for me, as for the other guy I am not too sure.
Sure there are more ghostly prison comes to mind also norn's annex and windborn muse. There might be more but it looks like you are getting lots of good help so you might not need my advise anymore.
I can't remember how Gary had his planeswalker deck set up, it was similar to this and it did work. Maybe add more attack prevention like collective restraint and the like, is parallel lives a necessity in the deck I didn't count but how many planeswalkers need it to enhance their token producing ability. I see its good use for defense its great to produce extra tokens so you can stay alive but is it worth taking up the slot in the deck? Also the aegis is a great card but it seems like it would be better as a sideboard card, its function seems like it would be better if you knew you would be facing a deck that was running lots of instants that deal damage and if it turns out all the decks you were up against don't have any instants that deal damage then its a wasted card.
Take a second look at your main deck, you have 3 Aether Snap in your deck.
Look up sculpting steel ... I like to use it to copy sol ring.
Well I am kinda hoping you will want to focus on Craig a little bit more than others when you get back, just because he is normally your punching bag. I just found out he bought a box of masters - one pack, that Franklin picked up just before he got there, hehehe. And I am sure Franklin is kinda mad because he was about to get a box so that he could draft, but I am sure he was wondering who would get in on it with him so that kinda made him think twice about getting it.
You stay gone as long as you like.
Also I am using a rule of law unless you think I need to run the lab as well but I think one is enough.
Yeah his new deck is really good ... he found a combo all on his own, isn't that nice. He is in love with green black and white, but you already knew that. We also played bad magic in one of the games, the green primortial hit the field and I had a humility out but we all destroyed stuffs (including my humility), we did not notice until a few turns later that humility should have stopped all the bs.
silly hydra my ass ... got it from the box of masters I bought recently. Also unfortunately for us one of our local not albany playgroup people has managed to pull two goyf s. I am kinda digging the back to basics but that means I will have to rework my lands. I still need a little bit of time to think about the tar.
really it doesn't matter which of the two I use, if humility is out then they are 1/1. also if I have certain enchantments out and play child then the difficulty level of winning for me increases by a lot.
please look at previous comments, the land issue has already been resolved. This and any deck with a colorless commander cannot have any basic lands. His playgroup allows him to use the islands until he gets lands to replace them. Also you cannot have any land in any edh deck, you must go along with what colors the commander is and use lands that produce the colors the commander is. Some people are misinformed to think that using lets say three basic land types in a deck that is two colors and allowing for the unused land to just produce colorless mana is incorrect, the unused land type is not allowed.
Teferi + Pool (already listed) = lock
hp the only thing that you said that I will disagree with is the part where you say that you can play your commander anytime, I don't think that is correct unless the commander has flash.
Okay just as long as your playgroup is open to let you do it then go for it. I agree there should be a winner in edh games but they should also be fun.
Someone in my playgroup made a Kozilek edh deck and his kill switch was infinite mana into rod of ruin untap, wash rinse repeat, ftw. I think he had fun with it but it was not cool to lose to the rod. Also I am fairly sure that you can't use the islands, even if you were thinking that you were only going to use them to produce colorless mana, there is a mana symbol on the land there is no colored mana symbol on karn.
LOL, I was not trying to take a shot at you btw, you obviously know how long it takes to post a deck you do have 400 more comments on here than I do.
I just noticed due to the tag we could be clashing with his deck it is listed as "vintage" and some or all of the cards we have been offering as options might not work. And come on Ninja, it only takes me roughly 15 minutes to post a edh deck, now I kinda want to see what you have been brewing.
