and if you were considering the mage I just mentioned, riftsweeper would be a good choice as well.
snapcaster mage?
sparkcaster would be the better one but horned kavu is decent.
I know you might not want anymore options but birthing pod is a good one.
It's good that you checked this deck out and were better at math than I am gh, due to your earlier comment it looks like you might start playing edh and you might use a deck that is built similar to this one.
No, the leviathan is right where he needs to be. The levitation takes care of the flying for my creatures. If I could only skip my turn here and there that would be good and use bottomless pit. I did not add anymore extra draw because I did not want things to get too out of control and have other players getting too much of a card advantage. I could have used temple bell, same as atlas I think. Yeah the lethemancer would be a good addition to the deck. As would the croc, I was going to use cavern harpy but the croc is better. The quest is kinda situational, they have to maintain the no hand part and that gets kinda messy in edh where people play group hug decks and what not so. The last time I played windfall was in a 7 player edh game the kicker was that I played hive mind the turn before I played windfall, nonetheless my playgroup has kinda banned me from playing windfall anymore.
Ha ha, too bad this deck does not have access to red, warstorm surge but infinite squirrels is crazy good as it is. And I just checked it's not banned in EDH.
Yeah get one deck the way you want it then focus on something else. Those are good suggestions that I did not even have to look for, good job. No problem, I don't mind helping a fellow edh player especially because you have been a critic of my decks, so it's all good.
That mana curve looks so sexy. I have had a drink what do you wanna do fight about it.
That's messed up Jester, I you are correct I do like that card. It might have to find a home in some strange blue/red chaos brew that I might make at some point. I have used Tamiyo and breaking wave together before and that worked out well for me. And I faced off against a squirrel opposition deck in a small tourney in atlanta back in the day, I was playing a deck with fires of yavimaya and other things that I can't remember but I do remember getting the win.
Yes, I was gonna tell you about the visionary but I was prolly being buried in cards and forgot. That is a very good choice though. Wow massive overhaul, I will look closer at the individual cards later but damn. A card that is not as good as survival is fauna shaman it might actually cost a little less money wise and if I remember correctly it does something similar. That's great that you have gotten it to go infinite and you are correct it does require a lot to make it happen but I would say it's worth it. Have fun with it if you decide to put it together, good luck and I am glad I am not in your playgroup because I would hate to die at the hands of this monster.
I will look that one up later and tell you all about it.
Smartass, anyhow I thought of another card I could add that would help to keep the combo pieces on the board, Avacyn.
Yeah I could see this deck running the staff o nin, I am not so into letting everyone draw extra cards so the atlas is not exactly down my alley. The flute is a very underused card in edh and might actually work out in this deck. The sigil is very nice, I need to find someone in my local playgroup that has it so I can trade for it and it goes into just about any deck with white in it. I like my little creatures with pro red, I still have defense with creatures and other players might not. Hectic is a good word to describe what I was going for with this deck and I thank you for giving me props for the combo situation I have going on. As for boots or some other type of equipment to protect my general, I agree a spot could be made available for one or the other.
Thanks hp, when I had it together this deck was fairly brutal but it was hard to get all of the pieces out to be able to win. Sorry it took me so long to get back on here and give you some love.
No problem, I try to keep up with when you post other decks so that I attempt to make a decent comment. Fellwar stone is a all star, btw. More mana for me.
Signal pest is another of those battle cry creatures.
I have left some comments on your decks as you have seen, but I kinda ran out of steam so if there is any one deck that I missed that you would like a comment on let me know and I will work on something for that one next.
For a long time I thought I liked soldiers more than knights, I think I might need to take a second look at knights. Paladin en vec is a good choice due to it being pro black, so it handcuffs black mages ability to spot destroy it. What about silverblade paladin? Knight captain of eos would be something to think about, but he does produce soldiers so you will prolly nix that one. Since you play so many creatures I would say that cathars' crusade would be a okay card to add. And I haven't checked but the cmc on your creatures is prolly kinda low so this card might be worthless but I will mention it anyhow Herald of war, also it's the wrong creature type so since it doesn't keep with the theme it's a no go.
