I wouldnt, because you need to sacrifice a creature and you dont have any spare. The Apostles need to sacrifice themselves and your demons are more valuable than mana. But if you get a hand with demons and few apostles youre screwed. i would ditch the present artifacts (the staff is a terrible card and thrumming stone is cute but youre gonna miss more often than not) and maybe a few more left-field demons like Halo Hunter.

I would ditch all the Slaughter Games (and the cute red splash) and the Rise of the Dark Realms. I know its ideal and the name of the deck, but you will never realistically reach 9 mana, let alone reach it alive.

Traumatize is a great spell, but for 5 mana i want a spell that could end the game. After milling turns 1-4, and the opponent drawing, Traumatize might hit 15-20 depending on your draw, getting worse as the game progresses. I would rather have the full 4 Jaces, as he is a superior 5 drop. If he is a bit expensive though, money-wise, Mirko Vosk, Mind Drinker is also a great library eater.

Breaking // Entering is a great mill spell, the closest to Glimpse the Unthinkable we have in standard. Run 4 of it.

Mirko Vosk, Mind Drinker and Breaking // Entering. They are both rare but very much unloved so you pick them up for a dollar apiece or less.

oh haha alright, Momentary Blink then is a good thing to add, as is Stonehorn Dignitary (Haze Frog v2.0).

If you want mill, Blue Sun's Zenith is a dump for a ton of mana that is not only an instant but also causes draw for the win

Clever, but throw in Thrumming Stone and a tutor or two (Diabolic Tutor, Diabolic Intent) to go find it.

i would add something to do with all this mana you're going to have. Like Blue Sun's Zenith to deck them or splash red for Banefire to just burn their face.

i did some research for my own version of this deck to see if i could include a sphere of suns that i have, and i came across an article on mtg by Mark Rosewater that said you can play cards that say "one mana of any color" like sphere of suns and alloy myr and cavern of souls. I quote:

"The expansion Arabian Nights has a card in it called City of Brass. Here is the current Oracle wording for the card:

City of Brass
Land
Whenever City of Brass becomes tapped, it deals 1 damage to you.
T: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool.

Imagine that we decided to reprint the card but change the name, as City of Brass didn't make sense in the new setting. While doing so we make a tiny tweak to make it read a little easier for beginning players:

City of Copper
Land
Whenever City of Copper becomes tapped, it deals 1 damage to you.
T: Add W, U, B, R or G to your mana pool.

City of Brass can be played in any Commander deck. City of Copper can only be played in a five-color Commander deck."

City of Brass says one mana of any color and Mark Rosewater says you can play it in any deck. So you can play alloy myr and cavern of souls and i can play sphere of suns! just thought youd like to know so you can include cards in your deck youre werent aware you could :D

heres the link to the article: http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/mm/148 just search the article for city of brass and youll find the section.

I really the idea, but this deck looks all over the place. If you are actually wanting to play this deck and not just have a party trick, i would focus up the deck more.

1) The mana base is all over the place out of necessity. so, you need expedition map. Also, Untaidake is probably the worst land ever printed, ditch it and add in something like Ghost Quarter or cavern of souls.

2) i would add removal such as moonglove extract, surestrike trident, staff of nin, and possibly ghostfire or mortarpod or granite shard (if they count as a colourless colour identity).

3) i would focus more on myr. Platinum angel and emperion are cute, but youve got no way to reach the exorbitant amount of mana required to cast them or your eldrazi. Myrs add mana dorks (even if you cant have the myr like Iron Myr b/c of colour identity you still have palladium myr and plague myr and alloy myr) and lower cost artifact creatures to fill the battlefield with.

This deck looks really fun to play, even if you do miss out on mass basic land searches (watch out for path to exile/ghost quarter!). I have an ulamog in my collection, i might just build a colourless edh deck.

Autumn's Veil is odd, i understand you don't want any interruption, but colour hate is not the best way to accomplish that. I've found Silence to be very effective at this, and, by branching into white, you get access to Alms Beast.

Youre already running a lot of black mana producing lands for 4 measly {B} symbols, so i would swap divinations out for Pilfered Plans.

If youre worried about that being too much, take out the mind grinds. Ive found it to be rather underwhelming, with a poor mana to mill ratio.

Scattering Arc is a very bad counter, for 4 i would like at least a hard counter. Just 2 more cancels or maybe dissipates are a better investment.

kmk is right, you should look at more removal than just counter. I would swap the Saving Grasp for unsummon, you never flashback the Grasp anyway so Unsummon is just more utility.

For a creature sideboard, i would include deathtouchers like Vampire Nighthawk and Typhoid Rats (Possibly Thrill-kill assassin) to halt aggro in its tracks. throw in some more swamps/dual lands for the added black and youve got a sideboard.

If you want draw, pilfered plans [(1UB) (Sorcery) Target player puts the top 2 cards of his or her library into graveyard. Draw 2 cards.] is better than divination, youre running black anyways so the "drawback" doesnt affect you.

under deck options, on the right under card legality and estimated value, theres the option to proxy the deck. Then print off pictures of the cards and put them in card sleeves with a real card (for support) and voila youve got a deck. You cant play any tournaments with it but if youre friends are cool with it playtest with them.

your other option is Magic Online, but that costs money to join and again to obtain virtual cards

I want cards that return creatures to my hand as a "cost" for an effect, like call to heel, turning into advantage when I reuse an ability. Blood clock is a great card for that thanks, as is umbilicus, but the others not so much. Thanks for those two though, i never heard f those before, before when I started

Whispering Madness is better than Last thoughts, you get a whole new set of cards instead of just a new one plus you technically mill the opponent (net loss of cards in library, net gain of cards in graveyard). 4 mana for curiosity with a cantrip is just bad.

Otherwise, i like it.
