And it only comes back in death o.o such power for a quarter!

Except it isn't. Path permanently removes the threat, while Chain to Rocks only temporarily removes. If they can remove the chains, it's sad. Also, Path to Exile is instant speed. The extra land they gain usually doesn't really matter that much, that's why it's pretty much the best removal in modern.

However, if you don't have Path to Exile or don't want to dish out 7$ a piece for them, Chained to Rocks is a great alternative!

Needs card draw and board wipes. Control is good because it gains card advantage and stays ahead. You aren't generating any advantage by just 1 for 1 ing the enemy each turn.

Example: Opponent plays 3 creatures. You exile them all with 3 spells.
Better choice: Opponent plays 3 creatures. You kill them all with a single Supreme Verdict. You gain +2 card advantage and are now in closer to winning.

Also, instant speed draw is good in case you don't need to play anything else on their turn. Think Twice, Blue Sun's Zenith, and Sphinxes Revelation come to mind.

Run the playset of Deadbridge Goliath. You won't regret it.

I don't know about actual competitive viability, but this looks extremely fun to play!

Looks to standard oriented. You should delve around the older cards, I'm sure you can find some better cards to work with. For instance, why run Agent of Fates if your only way of triggering heroic is to kill it with Go for the Throat? Latchseeker just seems unnecessary you could run Snapcaster over it for spell recursion or something. Just an idea.

Mother f****** Thragtusk. I quit standard because of that card's ridiculous dominance of the format.

I'm now running it in my casual Golgari :3

To make it slightly faster you can run Tormented Soul and Inkfathom Infiltrator so you can start attacking with a ciphered creature by t2.

Digging the 5 mana boardwipe then swinging for major amounts. Good concept, really thinking like an Izzet Mage.

For control you don't want to miss a land drop. I'd boost them up to 24 or 25.

Not too shabby. I completely overlooked the dancer. Good work.

Yeah, but since Dark Ritual black has not seen any good form of mana ramp to tap into. You could use Liliana of the Dark Realms. She's unfortunately a 4 drop and isn't true acceleration, but she's really good for deck thinning and removal.

Shiz man, I saw this deck earlier. Didn't realize it was yours lol.

Blue Sun's Zenith exists. If your running it as a 1-2 of you can easily refill your hand at the end of their turn.
White Sun's Zenith exists. It can run as a recurring win con, those flying 3/3 and 3/4s may not cut it some games. If you run Blue Sun alongside it, the chance of drawing it increases exponentially.

Mizzium Mortars is the definition of tempo if you can get the big cost off. easily 4-5 for 1ing your enemies all day long.

Go for the Throat would probably be your best bet, but it's $2.50. Doom Blade is almost always as good at 25 cents. As for mana ramp (that's what you mean by "enabler" right?) The only thing I can think of is Sphere of the Suns.

lol You make a lot of decks don't you? This one is pretty cool, and I can't think of a way to alter it atm. Well done!

Oh, the power of mono black. I would say cut the murders for a 2 cmc removal spell like Doom Blade, Go for the Throat, or even Grasp of Darkness. It would kill most threats.
