Not off the top of my head. It's been awhile since I built a deck. I'd try 3. If it proves that useful add a fourth. If not try dropping to 2. Unless it's just not that good just dont run it. But I do believe this deck has potential of tinkered with.

I'm actually about to start brewing a deck very similar to this one. I figured I'd try to work in some untap like Synchronised Strike to ignore the downside of exert. May want to try it out
Woah, this makes for a very unique style of deck. My only critiques for now are that I feel this deck could use some tweaks in the amounts of cards, and that there should be a few more ways to force the opponent to shuffle to guarantee maximum fuckery. Overall very nice concept. You, my good sir, have earned a +1.
If your trying to proliferate the counters on Magosi, I don't think it works. It has to bounce back to the hand in addition to using a counter to get an extra turn.
So is this following a particular budget or format? Let me know and I'll do a bit of studying into it. I particularly enjoy Sultai decks. Especially with planeswalkers.
I liked it. Couldn't comment cause it already seems very complete. All his thought out comments basically prove he's finished and has his stuff together lol
I had the exact same idea a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, a lot of this is going to rotate in a few months (I think.) So I had built my deck list to be rotation friendly. http://www.mtgvault.com/mtgel33t/decks/standard-bant-angels/ My list is a bit shaky cause I got lazy and never really finished it, but it seems to have the same concept as this one.
As much as I like this deck, I can't seem to think of any ways to improve it. I'm wanting to try and fit in 1-2 more Liliana to better ensure Grim Flayer triggers earlier in the game. On top of that, she brings in a recurring Ishkanah and can bring back Emrakul if you accidentally mill her and have no other options atm. Her ult can easily steal games if you somehow get it off as well. Unfortunately, I don't know how to fit her in since you have a good balance of all card types for Emrakul.
So it seems we already know the issues. We should really implement a way to get users more active because this site would be epic if it were a more talkative place.
Stupid phone triple posted lol
It does seem very dead. I think if they added a system like commending it would help everyone to be more active. People dont want to help others, just to get comments on their decks so there is no incentive to be active. I think the site is very well developed and a great tool people just dont use it how it was intended.Personally i just build decks for fun to show friends on here.
Will do if I get it built myself. Waiting on my play group to get their decks first because they usually talk and don't do i'll keep you updated though.
I was looking for a deck to get into pauper that isn't just delver and this sold it for me. +1
So I typed like 3 paragraphs on this before I started running out of stuff to say so I started googling it. Just read this primer. It has essentially everything I was going to say and more.http://www.mtgsalvation.com/forums/the-game/magic-online-formats/pauper/established/189720-primer-mono-black-controlIt may not be 100% rat based, but a full rat deck is going to be inferior to one that runs other things.Quick notes: Keep the Chittering Rats, Ravenous Rats, and Victim of Night definitely. These are all great cards for control.Drop Gnat Miser, Rotting Rats, and Mind Rot. Gnat Miser does nothing when your discarding their hand quickly anyway. Rotting Rats really isn't doing much but putting you both on top deck mode with a 1/1 body. Not very effective. Mind Rot is simply outclassed by Hymn to Tourach and Wrench Mind.Cards to look into would be1. Phyrexian Rager. For 3 mana you get a 2/1 and draw a card. It will almost always trade with something resulting in a 2 for 1.2. Liliana's Specter. Basically another rat but has evasion and can trade with Delver of Secrets if need be. 3. Corrupt. Good old fashioned win condition or great removal to put you back in the game.4. Crypt Rats. The closest thing your going to get to a board wipe. Could also be a finisher. 5. Tendrils of Corruption. Miniature corrupt. Good against aggro. 6. Echoing Decay. Personal favorite of mine. Wrecks face and can trade multiple for 1.7. Gray Merchant of Asphodel. Another good ender if you decide to go to a more permanent based deck.TL;DR just read the primer I sent you lol.If you still want to discuss it, Nearn and I will be free basically all day Friday.
Because undergrowth gets double counters from fetchlands and its very difficult to deal with. And yeah,it's looking more focused and confident in what it wants to be doing.
I'm assuming budget is an issue here. If it isn't get a play set of Undergrowth Champion and Wooded Foothills. They are stupid together. On the other hand, this deck has way too many 2 and 1 of's. This makes it looks very indecisive and puts off the main idea of the deck. Either you want that card or you don't want it. I'd say focus it a bit more and find what the absolute best cards are in here and make them 4 of's. Cut the chaff.
Lol @ umoonpuca. It actually seems like it could be done If the focus is more on scions than big eldrazi.
Now hear me out..Villainous Wealth.
Looks pretty fun to pilot, how well does it perform?
Thank you Zaklax. If <20$ isn't budget anymore then I'm disappointed. Even the description says 10-20$.
