I haven't play tested this, the concept seems solid, but your right about how slow this will develope. I assume using Cosi's trickster with Soldier of Fortune and Taurean Mauler will keep you alive long enough for such a thing as Forced Fruition. Wheel and Deal would tickle me if the perfect hand were to present itself.
Burn/Creature Clearing...same difference.
A backwards way to kill someone, but it's awfully entertaining. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=212184
Correct me if im wrong, but Ill have the same hand size if I draw then discard. Of course there is a chance Ill have no cards, but it will do all kinds of damage till then, but I see your point. I could lower it to 2 Crawler/Magus of the Bazaar and add 4 more vamps. The other idea with the crawler was to do the damage needed to create Bloodthirst. Thanks for the info. Plus you draw, then discard...not the other way around, advantage me :)
Yeah that can be a problem, the main point of the deck is to kill the opponent. Deathtouch is there for defense, but yes shroud and hexproof would cause a problem on that front. With Quest for Renewal or Seedborn Muse giving you ample opportunities to do damage. For example, three of these creatures untapping to do damage on my turn and yours equals 9 damage, or more, per round. Plus Hexproof doesn't stop me from blocking with deathtouch, it's a static ability not targeting anything.
I went up against a burn deck similar to this, the problem most decks have is this is designed to kill the opponent, the side effect is that they cannot keep creatures in play once Fire Whip is attached to a deathtouch creature or Basilisk Collar attached to a direct damage creature. Lots of creatures to go around. What ends up happening is you waste your burn cards on my creatures ignorning my health. It's difficult to win fast against a burn, but eventually you win out if they concentrate only on creatures.
Vamps with a Mass Polymorph/Patriarch Bidding approach. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=210316
Best offense/defense deck you will ever see. By round three you opponent won't be able to produce a creature. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=211218

Dump Phyrexian Vatmother, it gives you poison counters, and I don't see a whole lot of cards to make this a bigger threat to an opponent vs. the constant 1 poison counter you get every round. Add Steady Progress and Viral Drakes.

Added Oracle of Nectars to offset the damage from Pestilence and Shepherd of Rot Removed Shieldmage Advocate.
Trust me this deck has been vetted. Rotloung Reanimator and Shepherd of Rot combine to make a fearsome combo. Consider this, every creature is a cleric, if two Reanimators are in play and one cleric goes to the graveyard, you get 2 2/2 zombies. Shepherd of Rot is a serious power player considering how many people play zombies. You only need to win with one life left, this deck provides thats.
I didn't know skullclamp was banned. Not sure taking out any Phyrexian Obliterator would be a good idea considering how awesome it would be to have him imprinted on Mimic Vat while the combos get in play. I will say that I took little time looking for creatures which fit the mold, just threw in a bunch of 6 cost. As you can tell, Phyrexian Ingester isn't a 6 cost. Thanks for your help.
One on one Archmage Ascension might be to slow, however, if I draw an extra card on every other person's turn I'll be able to put a counter on it. It's possible to fill it up in two turns. I have to ask you reasoning for excluding Psychosis Crawler considering all the potential drawing, that's one life lost per draw. I do agree there probably should be more Vamps in this deck.
If you run black with this you can use disentomb/Morbid Plunder to put more cheap sac creatures back in your hand. Mortis Dogs and Fling work well together, especially if the damage goes through.
There's more you can do with deathtouch since it states damage and not combat damage. Thus any direct damage you can attach Basilisk Collar/Gorgon Flail to can kill without attacking. Same goes for infect creatures and direct damage. Something to think about.
