Why not throw in Tome Scour to ramp your Bitter Ordeal. Cephalid Looter/broker + Jace's Erasure would do the just as well.
The only thing 'balls deep' about this deck is all the flesh sword swollowing going for this guys deck.
I feel ya on that one. Never get any love for the same ideas that get on the front page.
BTW, if you really want to get your Blightsteel out I would suggest Mass Polymorph since you have the potential to make lots of tokens to exile.
Xeno Graft (Goblin) and Goblin Grenade. *NUKE*!!!
Not only is entomb banned, its about $25 a piece. Trust me I would love a set.
A couple options, first if your hand has an Exhume and a high cost creature, you do not play a land and discard the creature, next two rounds are mana. By the third round you'll have a big nasty in play. The other option, and quite possibly the best option, is Buried Alive. This lets you search for three cards and put them in your graveyard. Volrath, the Fallen does two things, discards cards from your hand, and uses those discarded cards for boosts. Depending on how you want to discard your creatures gives you multiple options to bring them back.
Easy, the Engineers and Cryptoplasms to copy the engineers on turns you need the extra mana. The Squire attaches equipment as a tap ability which means you can attach it at your leisure instead of as a sorcery. It's quite fantastic.
If you would, check out my Landfall Madness. I put in a couple of landfall mechanics you might like. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=212233
Dude you can repeat what was said already all you want, but it doesn't change the fact it was already said...just saying.
Check out Dispense Justice as well, might be a better option than Dispatch.
Contagion Clasp to speed up any counters you put on creatures with Steel Overseer. Maybe some Unwinding Clock and Sol Ring.
Probably a better optioin than Oblivion Ring.
Turn to Mist. This will give any creature with a 'enters the battlefield' activation a second go around.
You forget, Ponder gives you the option to shuffle which is better than losing cards to the bottom of the deck. So if things look bleak, shuffle then draw. I suppose we could agree to disagree on this one. I will concede the point on Spellskite until they come out with a ruling on the card and it's ability.
Add Collective Voyage and Dark Rituals in place of Explore/Rite of Replication/Treasure Hunt.
I have yet to find a ruling stating Spellskites ability, which is an activated ability, wouldn't go on the stack. Please point me in the direction of this ruling I really would like to see it.
No prob, we all make simple mistakes. Funny how you can turn around a pharse and it becomes less effective. Only in magic.
You are crazy, first Spellskite's ability goes on the stack so yes it will keep his illusions alive and second Ponder is waaaaaay better than Preordain. You won't find a better 1 cost scry, except maybe Index.
