No he shouldn't, braid of fire adds the mana during his upkeep when he can do very little with it, the mana would drain from his mana pool before his first main phase.

Jon: I do like terramorphic expanse but I was slightly worried about mana flow, more land good, slow land, not so much.

Roughneck: thank you kindly for that awesome combination

Rathering: While the fetchlands do work better in denying opponent landfall they are also insanely expensive and for that reason alone I won't touch them. (It is the same reason you will find that no decks on here seem to contain black lotus I am sure)

Yes it is, if you click on Phyrexian Dreadnought you can see the rulings for the card...

"Reverted to its original wording, this now has an enters-the-battlefield triggered ability. During resolution of the triggered ability, you choose one option or the other."

Congratulate whoever played that combo, it's nice in it's simplicity.

I can't help but feel that there must be a better card than roughshod mentor for the role you are trying to fill... *checks gatherer*
Concerted Effort is cheaper but dependant on you having another trample-er in play, Akroma's memorial is more expensive but you get more abilities for your mana.
much better.

I've seen infinite turn combos get people punched before... that said the puncher was taking the game way to seriously so... why not do both?

do you not find yourself drawing additional copies of the legends you already have in play? (I experienced that problem too many times and limited myself to only 2 copies of legendary cards in decks i play) If you don't suffer that problem lucky you and by all means continue. +1

If you are running out of inspiration try hitting the random card button on gatherer and build a deck around the first thing that comes up, or just keep clicking until something jumps out at you.

I love the card Aluren, I'm glad to see you do too. And while it is a risky strategy putting all your hopes onto a single card, you do still have creatures and spells there, it's just that Aluren completes your devastating combos. +1

Since cascade triggers for each instance of it on a spell have you considered maelstrom nexus for extra cascading fun?

oh, and intruder alarm to untap all your creatures whenever someone is foolish enough to play a creature (I have some experience when it comes to tim decks)...

with all your tims a charisma would be a good choice since anything to big to kill you get to keep.

following on from the above statement, a good way to calculate the "worth" of a burn spell is to look at the damage to mana ratio (lightning bolt has three damage to one mana while shock is only two damage to one mana for example making lightning bolt the better spell) also take into account factors such as what the spell can target (creatures, players or both) whether the spell has any re-playability (retrace, flashback etc.) and remove some if not a lot of those creatures, burn decks are designed to burn hard and fast, getting a starting hand filled with creatures won't help you burn. That's my advice.

i don't really see the problem of 6 extra cards, if the deck was over a hundred then it clearly needs trimming, but 6 over 60 is not a major issue in decks i have played, thanks for the +1 and if you can think of 4 cards and 2 land to remove i'll consider them.

I found the best way to abuse landfall was with saprolings + life and limb but this seems workable also. maybe an emmeria angel for some flying defence and more creatures when the lands come into play than just the baloths.

not just that, but if you don't have intruder alarm in play then the warden is a good tactical choice to go with your many 1/1 tokens you will be putting into play, it is a good stalling tactic if nothing else.

Also with infinite creatures I am surprised there is no soul / essence warden (can't remember which is white off the top of my head)

Godsire + intruder alarm also works, but it makes the deck 4 colours which could be an issue.
