Want to try again? Last time I checked the rules, opposite counters will remove each other before another counter is put on. Therefore, a creature with a +1/+1 counter that has a -1/-1 counter put on it would just have the +1/+1 counter removed.

Very solid. Biggest thing I could suggest is to drop one Thalia for a Forest. With Thalia being legendary, you really only need 2 of her in the deck, to avoid coming across her later as a dead draw.
Yeah, unfortunately artifact destruction is a major weakness to this deck. However, you are still working with a number of angels that are backed up with solid lifegain. I am quite happy to hear that you want to build this deck. I am thinking of refurbishing it when m13 comes in.
Fun little tribal here. Door and Urza's incubator really help this deck out. However, I don't think that coat of arms is as good to help with this, since it aids your opponent quite often too, if I'm not mistaken. I would look for some better card draw and/or mana ramp here instead of the Coats. Rampant Growth would be a decent addition for faster spiders, and maybe find something for "draw cards equal to target creature's toughness". I know there was one in ROE for that.
Problem with this... Quietus spike requires COMBAT damage for it's life loss effect, and tap damage is not combat damage.
Unfortunately, Lingering Souls doesn't trigger your Champion's, so I'd suggest going with Increasing Devotion instead, since it triggers the champions, and you can cast it for it's flashback, which is just massive.
Tezzeret's gambit would be good for all the artifacts you have here that need counters, and some extra card draw.
Splinter twin on the venerated teacher was always my favorite trick.
I hadn't actually thought of him. I do really like the idea and may have to find room to fit some.
I'd consider Reckless Waif and Grim Lavamancer in here as some other decent 1-drop threat. I'd also consider upping your Mana Leaks to 4, and dropping, say, a Fleeting Distraction. Yes, the distraction has is a cantrip, but countering a spell is a much better card advantage, especially if you're countering something like a Primeval Titan, or Wurmcoil Engine.
I'd add in a Glissa, The Traitor or two into here over a Harvester of Souls and your Tutors. With Perilous Myr, and the Harvester of Souls and Soul of the Harvest, She's a beast.
Very nice, I did see the combo of the Unruly Mob and Thatcher Revolt, but haven't used it in a deck yet. I do suggest running Riot Ringleaders though. Their bonuses to all of your humans may be just enough to toss the deck over the edge. Maybe replace some fiend hunters or Selfless Cathars.
I'd look in to Gideon's Law Keeper here for a little bit of defensive power, or Elite Vanguard as well.
I know I tweaked with the mana curve a bit there, but I tossed in 2 Conscripts, and took out one of each basic. Not sure if that's an agreeable swap, but I'm not sure what better to do.
If the Hero dropped Baby Humans, instead of Baby Soldiers, I would more than consider it, but I don't feel that the Soldiers are reason enough to add her.
I really like Pillar of Flame in standard. To me, it is just a great card to deal with so many different problems, such as Undying creatures, and a few other nuisances. I have been having a bit of a debate between the Vigilante and Stonewright. The reason that I go with the Vigilante is that he is basically unblockable in earlier turns, or will at least clear out a creature. My choice of the Ringleader over Kruin Striker is actually a huge one for me. The Ringleader will give buffs to ALL of your humans, even if you don't play a creature that turn, as long as you attack with it. Kruin Striker only gives the +1/+0 to itself, and only if you play a creature. Plus, the Striker only has that little 1 toughness, which doesn't give it much staying power, especially if it doesn't have First Strike.
I also don't think that you need 4 mass appeals in the deck. 2 should work just fine. I'd add in the other 2 Mana Leaks instead. Also, Captain of the Mists is good, but you really only want one of them at a time, so I would think about dropping one for the last tandem lookout or another Spectral Flight.
I like it, but I think that you may be better off replacing the commando with Tandem lookouts. The Commando isn't unblockable, and only has 1 toughness, and cannot be pumped with a sword or anything, whereas the lookouts can be pumped, have a higher toughness, and can give the ability to a Stalker.
Very good point. I do like the changes quite a bit.
Actually, I think that you have a really good point all together. The Mystics should be dropped for more Lookouts. The lookouts are meant to pair with the Stalkers so that you will permanently get that extra card draw that way. For the non-budget, I think that you could cut the Aether Adepts, and fill in that role the best, since you get the same effect plus a damage if you have a vapor snag in the 'yard. But you may also be able to trade for the stalkers or captains.
