Probably just got them when the series came out. Since Unhinged was a "joke" expansion, the cards were all pretty damn cheap. Now the lands run at about 10 dollars a piece.

I actually (think it was from unglued) remember a friend of mine trying to make a successful deck out of B.F.M. :)

My Cephalid Constable deck, surewhynot. That is my favorite deck. I really am proud of it. If you could improve on it, you would be my hero!!

Besides that...any of the decks. I mean, any decks that you are familiar with or have built similar decks to. Maybe just look at a few and get an idea of what my weak points are, you know? What I need to improve on as a deck builder. Again, any help would be much appreciated!

Modern...if it wasn't, of course I would be screaming Serra's Sanctum.

I hate to pander...but I want to be a better player and better deck builder...if you would, surewhynot, look at a few of my decks and hammer me. Tell me where my weak points are. What I am doing right. What I need to change to be better. Hell...any advice would be awesome. I have learned a lot, on this site, so far with people helping me better understand the rules and by suggesting better cards that i previously did not know about. And I ask, also, because I have heard nothing but positive comments on your deck building skills...so who else to go to, right?

Don't blame you if you -1 me on the comment, lol. :)

And speaking of pretty cards...weren't Unhinged land cards pretty? And so is Gift of Orzhova!

Yes, we all made mistakes.I had a chance to buy a blue control deck with 4 force of wills, for 100 bucks, back in 2002. I am kicking myself in the ass for not doing it.

Who knew stuff like Masticore and Morphling would go from 20 dollars to 2 dollars...and that stuff like Lions' Eye Diamond would go from 2 dollars to 100 dollars?

Who could of guessed?

Not splashing. But 2 decks from each color.

Which has made it more difficult to do. Also, not using, in any of the 12 decks, a creature that is not what the deck says. For example, if the deck is a beast deck then every single creature has to be a beast. No elves to mana boost, or anything like that. Doing that has also made it more difficult to do.

Anyways, thanks for the advice.

abcdefu96, thank you for being honest.
I am all about making my deck better. What would you do to change it? I thought Mentor of the Meek was pretty agro. :)

Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

Postmortem Lunge. It can get you a creature back in a red deck.

But the Card you are looking for is Lifeline. You are welcome.

Take out your Enchantment and Instant cards. Add something like Lightning Bolt and Pyroclasm to kill your own stuff.

Good luck.

My reasoning is this...if a card is good enough to put in your deck, then at least run 3 of them.
Goblin Matron is good. I remember when she came out, everyone hated her. Now I see half the decks on this site run her. Go figure.

I despise running 1 copy of a card in a deck. But, sure, couldn't hurt. Thanks for the advice, guys.

I am building one...a zombie deck...for my Creature Challenge deck. I hope it can only be half as nice as this one.

Mine probably is not going to be as combo filled and complicated as some Zombie decks I have seen...but not as straight forward as this one. I have always been scared to play with a Black deck. So damn complicated and self hating. Every time I think about making a black deck....i start to sweat and shake, lol.

As far as I am concerned, Black is the hardest to play.
Here is example. I go to Magic Search. Search for a blue/red/white/green card. And within a minute or two...I can tell you if that blue/red/white/green card is a really good card or a really crappy card. Now I go to Magic Search...look up a random Black card...and i can spend 15 minutes looking at it...and still can't tell you if that Black Card is good or not. And that is after playing Magic, off an on, since 2001!!!

Excellent...who needs stuff like Entomb/Exhume/Animated Dead or Putrid Imp/Zombie Infestation/Gravecrawler combos.

This deck is very straight forward, fast, and to the point. No tricks.

I love it!

Yep, agreeing with Kazzong. I have asked several questions on this site. I do not want to play the game wrong and i want to be a better player. Only way to do that is ask questions.

Okay, hate to keep bothering you...but these following examples...could you explain what I would end up with?

Genesis Chamber/Myrsmith in play.
Play Myr Battlesphere and you now get how many tokens?

Genesis Chamber/Myrsmith in play.
Play and sack Origin Spellbomb and now you get how many tokens?

Genesis Chamber/Myrsmith in play.
Play and sack Sunbeam Spellbomb, and now you get 1 1/1 Myr Creature and 5 life for 3 mana?

One more question...the same situation with Myrsmith and Battlesphere.

When you have Myrsmith on the board, and cast Battlesphere...you only get the option to pay 1 colorless for 1 1/1myr token, right? Or do you get the option of paying 5 colorless since Battlesphere and his 4 tokens are Artifacts?

I mean, when you cast Battlesphere...it counts as 1 Artifact spell cast...even if 1,000 myr artifacts come in, right? So I only get the option to pay 1 colorless for 1 Myr?

I am basically trying to figure out how much of the deck description/how to play sections I got wrong. lol
