And not to insult your intelligence...but you know you can make Champion of the Parish, after he is pumped up to like a 5/5 or a 6/6 (or something like that), unblockable using Mother of Runes. Fun stuff.

Lots of people are suggesting Vexing Devil..but the reason he is hesitant to play it is because, like Browbeat, most people will just lose the life when Vexing Devil comes into play...and this deck he wants to try to keep the creatures in play...not lose them. I feel him, there.

But...regardless, vexing devil, rocks, right?

I would say it would be good on the 1st or 2nd turn...but what he is sorely lacking is draw power. With everything costing only 1 mana (as is the Challenge), he will be out of cards very early. And when he is out of cards, the Martyr of Sands will be useless.

Like it. Serra Ascendant could do some damage with all of the life ramp. Definitely a good start deck. Would try to make it more well rounded...but besides that, looks like it might be fun to play.

Challenge to you. Was just looking through old expansions...trying to find "pretty" cards for my wife. I stumbled upon Mirror Entity. Wow, what a great card with huge potential! It could blend in with "Tribal" (I hate that term) decks. I asked myself if it even seems like it should be a White card...regardless, what potential! Here is my challenge to you, make a mock deck Containing 4 copies of Mirror Entity.

And what about 1 mana cards. You are short on that. You only have 4 copies in the entire deck. So, good chance your first turn is going to be wasted.

What about Diminish over Turn to Frog? Since you want to keep the card...why not just run Diminish? It is 1 mana cheaper. It helps your mana curve. Gives it more balance. Plus...all your creatures are over 1/1...so the 1/1 vs 0/1 isn't important.

Just throwing ideas out. Feel free to look at a few of mine and do the same.

Take out Turn to Frog. Add in Eye of Nowhere. It is much better. Instead of turning the creature into a 0/1 just bounce it with Eye of Nowhere. Or bounce their Artifact. Or bounce their Enchantment. Or best of all...bounce their land and give you the speed/mana advantage.
