Ooo, that's a nice idea.

Surgical Extraction I had definitely meant to add. =) Mire's Toll is lack luster early and generally less relevant later, as they shouldn't have much in hand anyways, so picking and choosing isn't as big of a deal, Wrench Mind only guarantees 1 discard for two mana, so I'll pass on that, I believe I have better options in the deck than Duress, and I actually traded Shortfang out for Shrieking Affliction since you pointed it out as it's faster to get out, doesn't have to flip, and has its damage set at the max that Shortfang can do anyways. Also, with the amount of damaging enchants now I added Rack for that extra umgh. Thanks for the suggestions! =)-IamAlphaGeek
Both are better than Recruit, IMO, but that may just be me.
Maybe consider Cloudstone Curio, Duergar Assailant, and Figure of Destiny. Curio combos really well with Hybrid one drops and Balefire.
The point to have him constantly killing himself for removal, tokens, and buffing creatures then recasting him. It doesn't seem like much but he gets out fast and bulks up quickly while still providing lasting damage with tokens and +1/+1s. Opal Palace and Doubling Season speed up his growth dramatically.
That could work. I'm still leery of my own advice throwing in Deathrite. If you can afford to actually put him in, let me know how it works out.
Yar, he's more than a bit pricey. Just a thought, though.
I would still recommend at least testing Mind Grind. Even if it costs the same, it can have a bigger impact and isn't weakened by earlier maneuvers but, in fact, made stronger by them.
Maybe consider Deathrite Shaman. Mostly as a mana dork once you've got one or two mill spells off and he'll speed up Jace.
Then Mind Funeral and Mind Grind are the way to go, especially if you're playing against pricier, more competitive decks because they'll usually be running fetch lands and not only thinning their decks for you but lowering their in-deck land count for any of the big ticket things I recommended.
Or Tome Scour, maybe. Since your Paranoid Delusions will probably end up serving you better with an Unblockable Specter than your Tome Scours will. XD
Or mainboard Specter and Sideboard Rogue
You say you need Traumatize, but I'd rather see Mind Grind or Mind Funeral. Assuming they went first and you haven't hit them with any mill and they have gained no card advantage, which would provide the greatest gain from Traumatize, your only milling, on turn 5, 20 cards. And that's if you haven't been doing your job all game. For 4 mana with either 4 Tome Scours or 2 Glimpse the Unthinkables (though the latter would take away your Standard legality), you can do the same thing regardless of what you've milled them for beforehand AND can start doing so earlier. You're better off with other, cheaper big ticket items or more smaller things. Maybe throw in Consuming Aberration in its place. Same cost, can mill multiple time, and gives you the alternate win of punching them in the face repeatedly.
Sideboarding Aquaous Form would fix that problem against decks with flying.
5 life is still a quarter of their health, though. Maybe get you close enough to finish it off without comboing off, yeah? Probably not, though. Not sure what you would take out, either. :/Suppose you do have room in the sideboard, though.
Still feels a bit slim, but then, I suppose you just don't play him unless the situation is right. Nonetheless.
Can't run Slave of Bolas. It's red.
Question: How do you intend to get rid of Realm Razer when you want to Coalition Victory?
Forgot about Balance. XD But it would give you an alternate win condition in your sideboard against decks that it wouldn't help against.
Knight of New Alara, if it doesn't set you over budget, would work well, in particular. Glory-Scale Viashino, too.
