...oh gawd that's insane...

I wasn't playing during the time that it was around so I'm not familiar with how it would affect the meta. I can imagine how crazy it can with the right creature or build though
With eye being banned, that's no longer an issue. Seas is still a viable thing
I'm not saying add it for Griffin. I'm saying for other things that aren't blue. Just tap Griffin for what colors you do need that aren't blue and once you have them just rack up the colorless mana you need and you're golden (pun intended). I wouldn't add more than two though, just to keep the balance from shifting
No kids yet, but eventually. As for the free time, it's just me really needing to find it.
Given the amount of land you need in order to get the storm counter up high enough to deck them out, I wouldn't call thus a way to lose friends. Now Painter's Servant and Grindstone? THAT will lose you friends in a heartbeat
Might want to change it to one of those versions then. I don't know if you're allowed to use an uncommon reprint of a common in pauper, but it saves time and frustration
Rolling Thunder can't be used here. It's uncommon
Ok I'll bite. What's the combo? Seriously though, you should explain things like this in the deck description box or how to play box
Ok having actually looked at said fog deck, it's definitely interesting. I can see it possibly working, but not as a budget deck. It needs the better mana base and leyline of sanctity desperately
Unfortunately I haven't had the time to get very far with paperstrip testing. Between my inconsistent hours at work and married life, I've barely had any time to even touch magic. I've played two games in the last three months, and the legacy groups that I do know of all meet up on days that I work. It blows
I think the most interesting fog deck I've seen was a mazes end fog deck. It worked surprisingly well
One small improvement I intend to make us the inclusion of springleaf drum. That allows you to tap the Griffin and get a colored mana for basically free on top of food chain giving colorless.
If you want to use them then it's best to make sure that your opponent cannot ever attack. Bridge is great for doing that, and you can still have a few cards in hand and stop sleeper from hitting you. It's risky because it can easily backfire on you. I can't run them in my build because it uses Waste Not to keep my hand full
No Thoughtsieze? No Inquisition of Kozilek? You know, the two most powerful discard spells in modern? Unless you're aiming for budget of course. If that's the case then disregard. Just wondering because I run a legacy 8 rack and have a full set of each in there
Given that you can bounce your own stuff, why not add something like ichor wellspring? Cast it, draw a card. Bounce it for repeat casting.sacrificing it if you swap in shrapnel blast. Putting ensoul artifact on it because you kinda want it to die. Could be useful. Also, rite of restoration needs to be in here
It's not technically golgari if one of your primary combo pieces is white. That would make it abzan
All good. I don't know your group or meta so tailor it too what you need
If you splashed white you could use Entangler and save a lot more space
i made the deck to be standard so i wouldnt add a modern card in this case. While i do completely agree on zone being better, if i wanted o make the deck modern, i would change more than just one card. i would just build an entirely new deck at that point
