thank you, and i have already tossed something together based on hellrider! :D

i have a bunch of hellriders laying around, and i am unsure why i have overlooked them. your deck is very good, and like swn said, has inspired me with a few ideas. :) happy stomping! :D
i hate this freaking deck. >:( oh, and i am back bitches! :D
i like what you have going here. another card to consider instead of elite vanguard is hada freeblade. boros is best known for being what i call 'top heavy', as in it has a lot of focus on power, and much less on toughness. that aspect is why boros is so hard-hitting, but it gives it its weakness too. hada freeblade will come into play effectively as a 1/2, which is a 'bottom heavy' version of elite vanguard. that little bit of early game staying power could make a large difference, and i have seen this strategy work in the past. in addition, hada freeblade does have the 'ally power', and only stands to become stronger. :) happy stomping! :D
words can not describe how hard this made me laugh. :D
i see nine elf creatures in this tribal. very sneaky. ;)
mirror entity is when all hell breaks loose. nothing finishes a game like giving all your creatures +10/+10 and making them samurai bill cosbys. :)
i am pretty sure that they cannot respond fast enough to survive before the effect resolves. biorhythm is great for that reason. it kills off anyone just like that. :)
the sample hand generator is pretty inaccurate to be honest. :| this deck has 20 artifacts, or one third of the deck in total. in practice, it will almost always have enough artifacts to work. it is true however that metal stomp works much better in legacy with all the other artifacts available, most notably the artifact lands. :)
well there are two things to do against day of judgment with this deck and similar stompy decks. for one, i can usually dish out enough damage before the opponent can cast it that it will not matter in the long run. second, i have fresh meat in the sideboard, which can often be a nasty surprise. :)
the effect of all those counters starts to really add up too, as i am sure swn can tell you. :)
well as i understand it, the technician found a crispy fried squirrel with its mouth between two frayed ends of a wire. apparently the current was still going through the squirrel, so that was why it was really terrible internet, but it never actually shut down. :|
always happy to help. i think those suggestions are in your projected price range as well. :)
thank you. :) i am very happy to have my interwebz back too, and the story behind why it got so crappy in the first place is just crazy. :|
working on it right now. :)
etched champion brings plenty to the table when it comes to hitting power. in fact, i've won with every creature in this deck except for llanowar elves. :) thank you for the comment though, i am glad you like it. :)
that is the name that is written on the box. :|
i would love to see bunnies as a fully supported tribe. hell, we already have squirrels! :)
alright i was told about this deck a while ago and figured i should help out. :) to begin, you have a good start towards the type of flowing efficient curve, but it is not quite there yet. stompy by its very nature tries to be as efficient as possible, so that the deck almost 'flows' when you play it. i always see this misconception that stompy simply means a green deck with big creatures and a means to play them a few turns early. make sure to understand that is not what stompy is. unfortunately when zendikar passed, stompy in standard became a lot harder to make. truth is that set had a wealth of good stompy cards, some so good i use them in my 10L. :) you have a number of the current go-to stompy cards in standard right now, but there are some things missing, out of place, and worst of all, in excess. mulch, in short, has no place in your deck. there are decks that make good use of it, but without benefitting from dumping creatures into your graveyard it will hurt more than help. primordial hydra is strong, but is also mana inefficient. you need to pay 5 mana and wait one turn before it begins to show efficiency, and that does not cut it. i would not use it if i were you and instead put in 3 garruk's companions and lower your viridian emissary to 3 as well. you could even be so bold as to put in 4 and lower to 2 emissary, but that is your choice. primeval titan is excellent, especially considering that in some ways, it costs 4 mana. as helpful, synergetic, and efficient as the titan is, it is still costly to play at 6 mana, so a maximum of two should be all you use. on that same note, liege of the tangle should be removed entirely, it costs too much for its efficiency to matter. i might remove overrun as well, but without garruk wildspeaker it looks much more appealing. mutagentic growth is a solid choice for quick surprise damage. finally arguments could be made for and against using caravan vigil. on one hand it might be a better rampant growth provided the deck's aggression continues to force the morbid ability to trigger. on the other hand it could be even slower than rampant growth. well i certainly hope that all helped in some way. happy stomping! :D
'i will buff these guys to 8/8s and attack for lethal.' 'nope, they are frogs now, so i will block and kill them all.' anyone want to ask me how many times that has happened? :|
