Definitely an interesting concept, and I can see where it'd be underestimated. Personally I'm not a huge fan of growing ranks, just because I feel like parallel lives or doubling season might be better? Other than that, seems like it'd be fun to play, and play against.
Exactly. I respect the budget builds and all that, but honestly only about 10% would hold up in a competitive environment, and even fewer would actually win. I miss seeing all the awesome standard, modern, and even EDH builds, never really seen too much legacy personally, that inspired me to design"better" decks. All the hot page is anymore is a tool for the casual players. Which as said, nothing wrong with casual, I just don't think they should be on the hot page is all. Just my opinion of course.
The front page was ruined forever ago, no offense to any one person in particular. All I mean by that is all you see on there is "funny" decks, "budget" decks or "forum" decks that serve no real purpose outside of casual play. I play casually, as I'm sure most do, but I used to like to use this site as a reference to see what kinds of deck builds I might play against in different tournament formats. Now I only ever use this site to build a deck and check it's stats. Pretty sad actually.
Sorry friend, I've been working.. A lot. Responsibilities and all that. I'm actually on my way back into work at this very moment!
The actual rules really only apply to a certain extent in casual. They're more of a guideline than anything. All that matters is the "house rules," and whether or not everyone, whom would be present, is ok with them. If he/she and their pals want to use the lair's rulings in an extreme literal sense, then by all means gas up that chainsaw.
You can browse if you'd like, but no specific decks come to mind atm. I basically just refer to the vault as a "visual" tool to use when wanting to build a deck. Or, if I'm bored ill just try to throw random decks together in like under 5min. I don't ever get much help from ppl on here anymore, so I've just decided to stop asking.. Lol.
Happy bday, and interesting combo. Though, apparently no one understands casual? Never once was it mentioned that this was supposed to be competitive there champs.
Thanks for the input. I do like the ascension, but I'm gonna say no to the other two. Haze only because it says damage dealt by creatures, I know its only one mana, but I feel like the 'fogs' I have might be a bit better. Dictate, is because of the two blue mama. I know that's not really a big deal, but Its just a personal thing to avoid that situation in three colored decks.
Valid point.
Since this is a "How to.." page I don't feel as bad about asking for assistance.. I'm wanting to make a deck around Bazaar Trader, but i want it to be usable in free for all as well as two-headed giant. Or at least set the sb up to where its interchangeable for the two. I know there's positive cards like lich's mirror and the such, but I'm also looking for cards that would hinder your opponents once you turned over possession. I've came up with a couple and I was just hoping for some ideas, and possibly some feedback?http://www.mtgvault.com/dharr16/decks/the-bazaar-again/http://www.mtgvault.com/dharr16/decks/the-bazaar/
Tormod's crypt over spellbomb?
Alpha authority, death's presence, doubling season, primal vigor, hooded hydra, hydra omnivore, bioshift, coiling oracle, gilder bairn, etc. Just some suggestions.
Crucible of worlds I believe it is, or something like noxious revival? Just to get some of the lands back from the grave.
I thought about those as well. Also thought about akroma. I put noxious revival in the sb so just in case i use all my unburial rites, i could bring them back instead of having to use their flashback. As a last resort kinda thing. Now back to the angels, avacyn and sigarda might be better sb material just because their abilities don't really flow with all the other "big" creatures in the main board. The slime and serenity are essentially removal while craterhoof beefs your creatures and has haste.
Done. Thanks for the input, and the challenge.

I thought about doing the simic version of this deck, then i stumbled across graft and just went that route.
Yeah I seen the manipulator and decided a deck based around Graft would kind of abuse her ability. I was worried about the mana base, but with the amount of ramp i think it'll work. Thanks for the comments though.
I believe i did it?http://www.mtgvault.com/dharr16/decks/aristocrat-graft/
