Hedron Blade is a must for the sideboard. Scrounged Scythe (Harvest Hand transformed) gives the equipped human Menace. True-Faith Censer gives +1/+1 and vigilance. If equipped to a human, it gives an additional +1/+0.

You can only Donate to one person. I was thinking of Paradox Haze in a similar way. Donate Rust Elemental, enchant the same opponent to speed up the Elemental's damage effect. Or play Braids and whomever you enchant has to sacrifice twice as many permanents to the point where they have next to nothing, they can't sacrifice Paradox Haze because you're the one that owns and controls it.
Open the Armory is another tutor for your Auras. Simic Guildmage is kind of a Aura Graft on a stick.
With so many good Donate targets, yet so few Donate effects, Puca's Mischief might be worth considering. The Mischief is a may effect, so you can just not swap if you don't want to. With Braids and Rust Elemental trigger in the upkeep, so Paradox Haze might be good too.
Ravenous Rats is a classic two drop that forces the opponent to discard a card. Rotting Rats does the same job as Ravenous Rats, but can do it once more from the graveyard. Down side is you have to discard a card too. Scepter of Fugue doesn't cause discard for playing it, but you can activate it every turn, keeping thier hand size down. Waste Not gets you more value out of the opponent's discards. For a long time, Wrench Mind was the closest thing we had to Hymn to Tourach in Modern, but now we have Whispers of Emrakul.Because Liliana's Caress and Megrim work off number of cards discarded, Dark Deal might be worth considering. Though, with all the discard in the deck, I'm not sure it's worth it.
I fully agree that testing it out yourself is the best option. We are different people, who read each situation differently, thus we play the game differently.
Trading Energy for instant speed seems like a good upgrade, especially since you're not using the energy
Blessed Alliance is possibly better than Immolating Glare in that it gives you more options.
Hydra was included because of its tutor effect. But I understand dropping the number of Wurms for testing other creatures. On a side note, Nacatl War-Pride is absolutely bonkers with Primalcrux. The copies it makes of itself do in fact have a cmc, which is {3}{G}{G}{G}, giving Primalcrux +3/+3 for each copy. With so many options for big Green beasties, Dramatic Entrance and Summoner's Pact are worth considering too, though that's probably for a different deck.
Those are all good Devotion / Chroma cards and worth considering. I would love to include all of them, and maybe Phosphorescent Feast, but the problem is space. Boggart Ram-Gang is one of my favourite 3 mana creatures, but again, space.
What about the classic white knight: White Knight?
In addition to showing him this, I suggest getting him to look up a deck called Ponza, because that's effectively what this is. I chose to take this to WMCQ because majority of Modern decks rely on fetches and shock lands to be efficient, and Ponza preys on that. The second Blood Moon isn't good in Modern is the second Ponza isn't good in Modern.
Posting the turn 3 win in the How to Play would have helped. That's what it's there for.
If you where running Blue, I'd suggest Goblin Electromancer to make the spells cost {1} less. But seeing that you want to go mono Red, Locket of Yesterdays can fill a similar role.I still think you should at least consider "free" draw spells, specifically Gitaxian Probe and Manamorphose. These can help you get to the duplicates you need to use off Harness the Storm.Oh, and a set of fetch lands would help a lot too. They reduce the number of lands you draw into.
Atog? Gives you a way to sacrifice your land to trigger Disciple of the Vault.
Glad I got my four Bloodghast when they came out. They're $28 each as per Star City Games at the moment, which translates to about R400 (ZAR) 0.oAlways glad to help :D
If your going for Discard, 8 Rack like Muktol suggested would be your best bet as it punishes the opponent for having little to no cards in hand, and you force him to discard to the required level for punishment.I play mostly Modern and Standard, so I'm not too clued up on any other format, but I did find this Primer (a kind of 'how to') for Legacy 8 Rack:http://www.mtgsalvation.com/forums/the-game/legacy-type-1-5/developing-legacy/574535-deck-primer-rack-pox-mono-black-tempoAs for all those decks I have, I really need to go through and delete majority of them as I don't need the lists anymore.
Your deck idea is best suited for either Modern; Legacy; or Vintage. It can't be done in Standard, and I'm not clued up on Commander enough to suggest it.
Each of those is call a format, and each format has its own rules for what cards are allowed to be used. Standard is largely for newer players. Only cards from the three most recent blocks, which contain two sets each, are allowed in Standard. As of coming Friday (30 September 2016) the blocks legal in Standard will be Battle for Zendikar (Battle for Zendikar and Oath of the Gatewatch); Shadows Over Innistrad (Shadows Over Innistrad and Eldritch Moon); and Kaladesh (so far only Kaladesh).Modern is a relatively new format (in comparison to the others). Any card printed in a set from Eighth Edition onwards is legal, but there is a banned list too. Commander, previously known as Elder Dragon Highlander or EDH, is an interesting format where you have a deck of 99 cards and one Legendary as your deck's Commander. You can find out more on the formats here:http://magic.wizards.com/en/game-info/gameplay/rules-and-formats/formats
I just checked Gatherer. Jungle Basin has never been a common, thus it's not Pauper legal. The same is true for Wall of Blossoms; Elvish Spirit Guide; Overrun; Gaea's Blessing; Tangleroot (Which is a Rare); and Living Lands (also a Rare). Some of the older sets didn't have different colour set symbols to show rarities, only black symbols, so it's a good idea to check Gatherer in these cases. The Pauper format has always been Commons only. So no Uncommons, Rares, nor Mythic. Although, you can use a card if it was once a common or becomes a common in a reprint. Rancor is legal in Pauper as it was originally printed as a Common. http://magic.wizards.com/en/game-info/gameplay/formats/pauper
