Didn't think of it that way. Whenever I think of the Vat, I think of killing and duplicating my opponents' creatures.

The Vat says; "Imprint — Whenever a nontoken CREATURE is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, you may exile that card. If you do, return each other card exiled with Mimic Vat to its owner's graveyard." and the target for my kill is lands, not creatures.
LOL, that's actually a good idea, but for another deck, this deck is designed for killing lands :p
Tectonic Edge can only kill nonbasic lands and as I said earlier, I don't want to be limited to killing nonbasic lands and reducing my land count to kill one of my opponent's doesn't sound like a good idea to me.
I'm not wrong, the walkers getting loyalty counters is part of thier cost not the ability so the season won't give extra loyalty counters, but Elspeth's and Garruk's abilities to put a token creature into play will be affected by the season, so they'll get doubled.
I decided against making the deck rely solely on one ability (you're suggesting landfall) and I have tried Burst Lightning and found that Galvanic Blast works just that little better seeing that I don't have to pay for the extra damage. Explorer's Scope helps just well enough with the landfall.
You mean Manic Vandal and Oxidda Scrapmelter? I don't think I'll be adding anymore artifact hate as in this deck it relys too much on one card (Liquimetal) and will often end as dead cards in hand.
Even without the Liquimetal, Acidic Slime, Naturalize and Argentum Armor can get rid of it :p
I already know about it and already have a deck using it: Land Destruction (Green) http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=111924
I originally didn't intend on making this deck, but seeing how popular it's become I mite just and if I do, I'll try get some dual lands and / or Terramorphics
The idea of untapping Liquimetal is good, but I probable won't do it in this deck.
That's actually an awesome combo. The only problem is working in the Splinter Twin.
Long-Forgotten Gohei - gives spirits +1/+1 and makes arcane spells cheaper. Elder Pine of Jukai + Loam Dweller - free lands for each arcane or spirit spell you play. Peer Through Depths + Reach Through Mists (in any order) followed by Sift Through Sands can fetch The Unspeakable and put him into play. Sensei's Divining Top can help keep the legends in your library so they can be searched for. Also try reduce the deck to 60 cards and 2 or 3 colours (for consistency).
Here's the link to the first attempt at the remodel: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=168262
It's (for the most part) a good land destruction deck. I'm just not fond of Goblin Ruinblaster not being able to kill basic lands
Thanks dude :p
Some nice creatures for Land Destruction decks are: Terravore Akki Blizzard-Herder Avalanche Riders Shivan Wumpus Argothian Wurm Also Roiling Terrain could hurt the opponent :p
Just had a look at your deck, yours is based on artifact destruction, mine is land destruction. Yours rely's too heavilly on Liquimetal Coating, mine uses it as an additional bonus for land kill.
Thanks, I'll take a look at trying to work that card in.
I didn't, the goblin can only kill a non basic land and I don't want to be limited to that.
