Maybe one or two cyclonic rift, in case something hits the field before you go off that will prevent you from winning?

Grapeshot would also work, but yes the whole LabMan works.

BOOM, also a slick solution that's overall cheaper than the big ol' eldrazi and colossus.

That's an elegant solution. I quite like it. You can still run an eldrazi titan, or an Elixir to avoid death by draw-out if your opponent has removal. Start over.

Since you can generate well in excess of 27 mana, I'd recommend you play both Blightsteel AND Emrakul the same turn. Would be nice to see a single of Elixir of Immortality in case the draw goes horribly wrong and you get super deep in the deck before pulling win-con cards.

Ditch Blunt the Assault, add 4 more land for consistency... Also, WHY?! This would be such a frustrating deck to face, as you wait to deck yourself. Especially with the damn fog on a stick.

I'd ditch Nettle Sentinel for Young Wolf or another 1 drop guy that can help power up your +1/+1 counter mechanic. Maybe consider Hardened Scales as well, pull the tuskers, drop down to 3 Rancor, and go with yeah 21-22 land.

Thanks. It comes out pretty beefy and fast.

I like the idea of a kill via Shaman of the pack, I'd probably skip Heritage Druid for some more token generators or maybe some removal.

The "ramp" from Manamorphose is just accelerant for Ascension, it's one more card that draws, and can be a trigger for ascension. Pyretic Ritual's not as good for that but can still help, especially by letting me get a 3 CMC into the GY BEFORE I cast Pyromancer Ascension.

I'd probably not put a Pyromancer's ascension down until I have a GY with at least one thing I have a copy of already in hand, Staggerslash, or Volt Charge ideall, as with a single second copy going to GY I'll get the two-charge in.

Copied burn is the "big play" I'm not going for a giant Johnny finish, those decks are fun for what they are but I don't really want to go with a big grapeshot combo, so much as see if I can win consistently vs at least a style or two with this. I think the key is gonna be patience with burn (especially multi-target burn), and a bit of luck lol. The Faithless looting and Manamorphose help with that.

Valakut's in there as a 1 of, just for a luck card. I don't think I'd want to waste deck-space, or mana on intentionally fetching it, although maybe expidition as a SB card vs decks that want to play some sort of counter based long-game on me would be a smart move.

It's a bit more expensive but you're not wrong. If I was gonna put money into land it'd probably be for Isolated Chapel.

Looks like a fantastic and budget multiplayer deck.

I do love me some tribal as well. It would be good to thin the top end here a bit for sure, and add some more early forest generation but I don't want to go all-in and have no removal. Might trade the Winds for some more ramp though. Lots to be done for that.

Thanks, and it's even better when you can use power conduit to flip counters off of the undying guys, onto the evolve guys (making them bigger, while protecting the undying guys).

For sure, I'm looking at Reality Shaper, and Solemn Simulacrum as part of how the deck runs. Cards that do something even if they die, or because they die.

I have been thinking of doing something like this, and I'm thinking Heartless Summoning will go a long way to speed it up even more.

Scrying is huge, you'll also want to settle on a predicted outcome for creature pull, like Progenitus for sure, or consider Emrakul as well. Either is REALLY good for this concept since they're so hard to remove. You'll also want to consider some things that don't target them still make them unusable (like Ensnaring bridge), so having some bounce may be key to swinging and winning.

With 8 mana guys you for sure don't have to worry about having 20 forests. You could get away with 16-18 as is.

A slightly cheaper card that would do a similar effect would be Acidic Slime, it's also great if you put it on a Mimic Vat.

I would like some advice on ways to tune this deck a bit while keeping it Modern, and not making it cost more. I really enjoy the style and tricks, so I'd rather not lose them.
