If you're going to run grixis you need at least one Nicol Bolas. Represent!

...but seriously, I think it would help your deck some. My normal grixis build (I have it listed, check it out if you like) doesn't use anything that can be considered high cost, but this one does, and Nicol is a heavy heavy hitter!

It is interesting, but you need a big finisher. Perhaps consider using Consuming Aberration.

Duskmantle Guildmage is a must here. The synergy with Psychic Spiral is amazing. Also, consider cutting back on Mindgrind. It isnt all it cracked up to be (Reap Intellect isn't much better). I would remove Mindgrind from the list and either Grisley Spectacle or Destroy the Evidence. With the five card slots available, I'd throw in Duskmantle Guildmage and an Island. That would end up fixing your mana curve a bit too boot.

I suppose. I just have a hard time making 5 color work. Im glad it works for you here though. Have you thought about trying a better big threat than the Leviathan. Since you're running all the colors I am sure you can find better. Aetherling for example.

I have a formula that I use to find the land base contingent upon the average casting coast and the highest cmc. This on called for approx. 22. Its mainly up to you though.

Thanks! I put it in the side deck. I'm gonna try it out and see how it goes. =)

Been wanting to try this guy as a commander. My plan was to use extra turns...and abuse them at that!

Needs more mana. I would say around 22 considering the average cmc.

I like it. I just posted a Izzet deck myself. I think that you should use some more Cyclonic Rift if you have it. If you would, check out my deck and see what you think. I could use some advice.

Swapped in 2 Cyclonic Rifts (all I had was 2) replaced 2 Mizzium Mortars.

Please give me advice. Keep it nice and cheap and all cards to be considered have to be standard and in the Izzet guild (watermarked and all). Thanks!
