Yeah, I am trying to stick to standard. I swapped in Pillar of Flame in place of Tragic Slip to start. My Main Win condition is Nephalia Drownyard with Stensia Bloodhall and Cackling Counterpart as a back-ups. The plan is to counter everything the foe does while I nickle and dime them with my lands. I am thinking of sideboarding Slaughter Games to remove pesky cards I can't get rid of.

Any tips to make this control monster even more insane?

In Modern you could always drop Sanguine Bond and Exquisite Blood or use Blood Tribute (Kicked of coarse).

Option 2 if anything.

I agree. More Lavinia would be good if you can get hold of them. AEtherling is also a champ.

Ghostly Flicker, though, is more of a sideboard card.

The guildgate would do just fine IMO. I would use More Glacial Fortress and Hallowed Fountain as you come across them though.

Resto Angels are amazing. Yes! Use them.

I like Blind Obedience here. You may want to play 2 mainboard and sideboard 2 more.

I dont remember the name either, but yes, that could work.

I have a few points I want to hit here, so bear with me. =)

1. Your playing a couple to many cards and you need to add a pair of land (I would say Islands) because your mana base is looking a little weak. Even just 2 more land would make a lot of difference. Toss out Archon to make up the difference and Syndic of Tithes to make round it out to 60 after you add the lands in.

2. Ditch Lyev Decree. It isn't good here (or anywhere for that matter). I would toss in something that does damage in its place. Maybe a set of Invisible Stalker would do the trick.

3. You are going to want to have a way to "blink" or "Flicker" your ETB (Enter The Battlefield) effect creatures to get a little more out of them. I recommend using Voidwalk, or you could use Deadeye Navigator. Lavinia on a flicker/blink every round is amazing. Ditch Isperia and the Lawmages to add in something to this effect.

4. Extort thins you out. Get rid of the Knight of Obligations and add in Soulsworn Spirit in it's place.

5. Last Point, I would consider throwing in a few more 1 mana casts. I recommend tossing Protect // Serve and adding the lowly Unsummon. It is always handy and can even be used to get an extra detain out of an ETB creature.

To get some more ideas, check out my Azorius Control and any of my other decks. Link to my Azorius Control Below:

Sublime Archangel seems misplaced. I would recommend using Leyline of Vitality, or Trostani instead. Its hard to beat life gained upon entering the battlefield.

You are going to want to be able to clear the field and, since your playing boros charm, you could use it to clear the field while cyclops is out and then Boros charm to make it indestructable. Then, Bam! 7dmg

Cut back on land. 24 should be enough. Throw in a playset of something to keep you alive!
