I was considering him, but there were two things that I didn't like about him. 1. He's a two-drop who doesn't contribute to metalcraft. 2. He's mana-heavy (requires 2 white mana). I would put him in if this were an equipment-based deck, but this deck has no place for him.

That completely skipped my mind. Thanks!
I like the idea. However, the land exchange seems a little out of place in the deck where you want your opponent to get big creatures, which you will in turn exchange for your smaller ones.
I made my own in Scars Limited. You can check my profile for it if you want. You're trying to do too many things at once here. You are trying to disrupt their hand while disrupting their field. Yet you also are playing big aggro cards. I see you are trying out control, so stick with that. Get rid of Blistergrub and Vault Skirge and sub in Cathedral Membrane and Everflowing Chalice. You'll need some mana ramp if you ever want to get up to Sheoldred. Other than that it looks good.
I can't play the catacombs because that's going to rotate out. I was doing this in-block.
Remember that you have to pay two life for each activation. So, in order for this to work, you would have to have had an odd number of life already.
I personally am not a fan of Red Sun's Zenith. It's just a repeatable downgraded Fireball. You're better off with another Igniter.
I never found discard and mill to mix very well. Either go with discard or go with mill, unless you make it heavier on reanimation.
Run Krark's thumb to increase your chances.
I love how you can get a bunch of different combinations of cards and still get the first turn kill. I've tried this several times. It's a neat trick to pop the diamond in response to Infernal Tutor for the hellbent effect.
Susceptible to mill. Other than that it looks really nice.
I'll go with a more reliable Galvanic Blast instead, thank you.
It's a nice combo. I'll see if I have room for it. However, if Ferrovore is going to be the only target, I don't think so.
Then again, the only thing I have against energy chamber is the fact that I'm a standard whore. In theory, once you get rolling with your precursors, you should have enough of a sac engine with the throne and foundry to proliferate all the charge counters you will ever need. Once again: no poison. No need for it. If you go for combat damage, use combat damage. And remember, turn aside. A nice one mana counter that will protect all your golems. And, btw,
You need manaramp, and lots of it. Grand Architect does great for this. Also, if the only reason you're running black is for tainted strike, you're better off removing black altogether. use white instead, and fill up the deck with turn aside and indomitable archangel. Take out the clasp and chamber. They are two irrelevant cards. In fact, anything to do with infect, just take it out. Etched champion is also a no. Use cards to accelerate through your deck to get the cards you need. For example: preordain and riddlesmith. You'll need them. Hope this helps.
needs mana acceleration like Grand Architect. Day of Judgment is a sideboard at best in this kind of creature based deck. Other than that looks decent.
Yes. Yes it is.
megrim is not in standard, sorry. And mind sludge is basically your "discard your opponent's hand" card. I need those, dont ya know
Also, FINALLY, SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS THE JOYS THAT FOG BRINGS! You have no idea how many times that card has saved me. Once, I was playing elf mirror. The guy I was playing got better draws both times, so he got ready for his finishing attack faster. However, he didn't have fog. So I always finished him off right after his intended finisher fizzles.
Hey boys it's a spammer! ^^^
