I'd actually suggest Faerie Macabre instead of either of those, it allows for easier bluffing, and since it never actually gets cast, it's incredibly obnoxious to deal with. Pox would happen, eventually, but against you I'm not sure which variant I would use. Probably something close to the Amore e Morte build, but with Contamination boarded out.And as for Doomsday, I've lost to some hilarious things, for instance Words of Wisdom in response to Tendrils of Agony... And Cerebral Vortex... I'd usually laugh at losing to those kinds of cards, but Doomsday is one of the few times it's a legitimate concern.

Sorry it's taken a couple days for me to get back to you on this, I had to actually try it to understand it. This is almost a tasteful form of evil, and I love that about it, but more than anything this makes me wish you could use Nefarious Lich.Wonderful design Artemis, but definitely one I'd come to hate if I had to play against it on a regular basis.
Of course I'll check it out, I've actually been meaning to check out your EDH lists, but the format is still daunting to me.
That would explain why I don't get it, never got into the series.
Drew a test hand, swung for eight turn three. Awesome.I have no idea what the reference is though.
Yes, and I feel like an utter ass for partaking in the random angry comments. I try to stay as neutral as possible during arguments, but the Reanimator line kind of struck a nerve. I apologize Mymobbsdeep, I'm just a cranky old neighbor in training.
True, there are many piles that can win without passing turn that use Laboratory Maniac, but with Gush you remove a lot of the restrictions on such piles :DEntomb in Lands is something Joe said to try, and after doing so, I can't look back. It's the breathing room that I wanted, but couldn't really achieve with Crop Rotation.
It's true, most Reanimator decks have a less suicidal inclination, but I standby the argument of why should I worry about myself, when I'm killing you? It's the core mentality of every black card printed that power is to be achieved regardless of cost. Two copies is the norm, and it is a risky play, but in that place I now have Careful Study #5 in the form of Faithless Looting, and it makes an even ratio of pitch to catch(giggidy).Extirpate is kind of just something I haven't removed from the sideboard, in all honesty I've been meaning to, but haven't gotten around to doing it yet. Probably going to set those spots back to an older setup I used, see if it's worth returning to.Blazing Archon vs. Empyrial Archangel is a debate that has gone on for a long time, and I flip-flop between sides. It's honestly a meta-choice in my eyes, which one you run. And Tidespout is amazing, but feels slow to me. If I don't win on the spot, I should reduce the opponents chances of winning as much as possible. Now running three Griselbrand is something I absolutely can not get behind. They're powerful, but the tech advantage is what gives Reanimator such a spectacular game one! If I dedicated three slots to him, it'd be three slots with one purpose, and the toolbox aspect is what gives Reanimator the tech advantage in the first place. It's the same as when people kept telling me run four copies of Jin-Gitaxias, I said no, and I proceeded to maintain my 3:1 win loss ratio.
The red splash is worth more than the board, as having even that one extra Careful Study in the form of Faithless Looting does a lot for the deck. The board was the original reason I splashed red though, and I can't say I'm anything but satisfied with Pyroblast. It's good against Fish, it's good against Sneak & Show, and it can deal with Wallet Sculptors.Ethan ran Flusterstorm in the main deck, as did I for a good while, but Spell Pierce is just so much more versatile in that slot. I do miss pissing off Storm players with it though, it's one of the best responses to Tendrils ever printed.Sphinx is because I am tired of seeing Maverick and Zoo, protection from green with lifelink and vigiliance is kind of like flipping them the bird the entire match. Inkwell is also a good choice against them, and Fish. Immunity to targeted removal, islandwalk, and trample on a 7/11 body? Yes, very yes!I'm glad you like it though Jack, this is really my pride and joy when it comes to MtG! It's one of the first decks I ever used for competitive Legacy, and it's certainly been my favorite.
No Ill-Gotten Gains whatsoever? Pretty ballsy man, even with PiF.
Been a while since I've seen a good Enchantress deck, very nice build, looks infuriating to be on the other side of heheh.
Or you could get a decent job, and use your entertainment budget in a way befitting of your hobby. Seriously, you could justify this same as any expensive manner of entertainment. You're coming off as an ass, but to be fair so are you Jack, and I probably will too.Sneak and Show is a popular, and reliable deck, but if you can make a better Reanimator for $150USD, please show us. As much as a Reanimator nut as I am, I'd love to see that.
It's hilarious in Doomsday, legitimate wins with Laboratory Maniac shouldn't exist, but because of that they do.
Every time somebody mentions extracting Gush, I feel sad for my Doomsday deck. Card is just way too much fun to take away
Stasis decks are great, and the perfect thing for a break. For the pilot at least.
I've always been one to find MBC worse than Stasis to be honest, but I guess Qui-Gon is right.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ddpTlzzgtrA
Creeping Tar Pit if a judge asks, but otherwise it's that I don't lose.
You know that Frantic Search is banned in Legacy right?
I'm shocked you of all can't figure out what it is, it's one I know you love almost as much as I do. As a hint; What's your favorite black creature?Thespian's Stage is definitely up there in my list of favorite lands now, it makes the deck flow significantly smoother.
I didn't think this could be done, but here it sits, a functional Licid Tribal deck. Cheap, weird, and looks like it's fun to play!
