That is true, I guess it depends on how you play your deck

Hey, so you told me about Rogue's passage, and I added that, and then I was looking for a better, cheaper option. I found this: Glaring Spotlight This is an artifact that makes all of your creatures unblockable, and makes enemy cards with hexproof able to be targeted. Just another thought, I will let you know if I run into anything further
Ya, I have considered them, and they were in the deck to begin with, and you are right, they would be very useful against some decks! Thanks for pointing out this thought!
Ya, so I see the squadren hawks, and I see the 9 cost angel, I see the amount of ways that this deck has to get the swords, and I say, there is alot of room for improvement. First off, look at you mana curve.... for a control deck there shouldn't be really anything above 6. As for counter spells, you have 22, but 10 are very situational, cancel is also a very bad card, there is another (dissolve I think) that does the exact same thing but scry 1. I also question your sword choice, I think that they don't quite fit in, try to find some different ones that benefit blue or white. You are really weak against creatures, so try to add wall of denial, fog bank, or a gomazoa in here, that would cirtantly help. i would be glad to get together and talk about a modern version of caw blade, and it would be very good, but you do have the right idea and a good start
Charles, look at the sideboard, and this deck is mono green... those are both multicolor... lol XD
I understand what you are saying, and khalnonan hydra takes to long to get out for my purposes, and I am planning on putting in the sideboard to help deal with control decks, stuff like myscutter hydra, things like that. Thank you though!
I see what you did here, this is a very interesting take on a hydra deck.. here is another take on one if you want to look at it, actually, would you mind taking a look? I would love another opinion!http://www.mtgvault.com/vanguard487/decks/hydras/
My first deck ever was a Hydra deck. I love them, and personally, I think they are the best decks, because they have the potential to deal so much damage so fast! And if you try to stop it, it only gets worse, right?! I have something that will really help you out here, Savage Summoning This is legal in standard, and I would USE IT! Find a way to put it in, and you will be set. Other then my extreme personal dislike for monstrous creatures, your deck looks good!
Ya, I know about them, now this deck is kind of a failed idea, but I will tweak it now to at least work
Sorry, I put rimescale in the wrong deck XDThanks for the suggestions
Thanks, that helps clear things up, I changed it, but it won't be nearly as good now :(
Well, there are cards that can target them, so I don't see why it doesn't work, I can't find any ruling on it ether... Good point though, I will keep lookingI found mixed ideas, I am not completely sureI guess you are right, I am seeing more for it and less against it
This deck is an amazingly fun one to play, I proxied the cards and played a few games, and it was really fun. This deck works great, it is not the best deck in the world, but it will definitely win you some games. I would say about 2/3 games would be a win, however, this doesn't do well against decks that use other means of winning, like a valakut ramp deck, (although most decks aren't good against decks like those). Anyway, my first game with this deck, I had 12 wolfs, each with deathtouch, and they all needed to be blocked by 2 creatures. So, the opponent basically had to sacrifice 2 of his creatures just to block a 2/2 wolf. It was kind of funny! Hope that this helps!
Okay, I see what you are trying to do, and it looks way to slow, you know, there are ways to get every suspended card out with one card, take a look, I think that it would do this deck some goodhttp://www.mtgvault.com/vanguard487/decks/suspended-20/I encourage you to take a look!
I could, but i tried to keep the cost down, though I had to make an exception with some of the cards in order to get the deck to work, but those lands are not really needed, and the balance is pretty good right now, I don't really need to add them in unless I see a huge lack in efficiency.
Well, if you had 17 grand to spend, you would be unbeatable in casual XD
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I tested this deck out, and it works fine, but it needs creature removal, that is the only issue with it, but thanks for the help
Red is in here only for balllightning, that one of the best cards in this deck, and getting the combo of lands is never a problem, but if you want to lessen the cost, and take out the duel lands, you could along with balllightning
ya, I considered it, not sure what duel land to put in at this point
