this deck is real

- obliterators. + fume spitters. undeniable synergy w/ geralf, & instant 1-drop removal.
got damn!!
yeah, but traditional tezz. doesn't stand a chance in this fast-azz meta w/ delvers and ramp everywhere. 13 is enough to make a 5/5 when tezz comes out, but not too much to have a bunch of crappy artifacts out if he doesn't show up. hence, bloodline keeper. he's the real mvp.
my reasoning for verdict is that cards w/ hexproof (dungrove, equipped geist) and pro-black (mirran) put up unbreakable walls and really make a clock for this deck. geth's allow me to target the player in removing those threats, and porcelain (in the side) trades w/ mirran. thanks for the comment. ;)
nah, it's pretty unreliable. good ideas though...
this deck is affordable... ...but is it consistent in its draws? **i'll sleeve it up and get back to you**
sweet...+ 1 frousand... :(
the metamorphs are there to copy their big guys, my swords, or copy a hellrider / oxid ridge for double damage. 21 might be kinda low for 8 things at 4cmc. i'll test and get back to you on that one.
what would you sub out for them?
woah......
no spot removal?
quite tight...i've got nearly the same build, though i'm -1 grave and +1 think and +1 black sun's. darkslick shores, if you've a spare $40, help the mana out tremendously.
essence of the wild also combines nicely w/ spider spawning.
5 land...play kessig cagebreakers w/ all the smaller creatures you've mulched into your graveyard. 6 land...play essence of the wild, then attack w/ kessig cagebreakers, then put X 6/6 dudes on the field tapped and attacking. nuts.
first standard tourney win w/ a non-standard deck...congratulations.
this is the one.
yeah, they're similar. like the description suggests, there is some "slight variation" in the # of gut shots, vapor snags, midnight hauntings, and the sideboard. the core's pretty much the same in all the delver blades though. if you have better ideas, i'm open to them.
yeah, it's gaining in popularity pretty fast. i haven't had a chance to earnestly try it out, but in pseudo playtesting, the thing really smooths out your draws, and trades the bad cards in your hands for the good ones. oh, and the guy really doesn't mind holding a sword or a pike.
if you have the wurmcoils, then def. the wurmcoils. fits the curve a lot better than batterskull, and is a superior win-con.
