@Lightningfurie: I guess Bonfire of the Damned, Aurelia's Fury, Mizzium Morters, Terminus, Cyclonic Rift, and Merciless Eviction arent boardwipes....or standard...? Come on bro....

looks like a disorganized mess....try slimming down the number of different things you have to streamline gameplay and become more consistent.
hmm...I dont see a way for you to deal with Glaring Spotlight...or other boardwipes....might want to think about some counterspells.
you should have more Megrim than Blood Reckoning.
your general is too expensive to keep casting....add Darksteel Plate and Lightning Greaves or Swiftfoot Boots to help keep him alive. Kaervek is going to be my next commander. Nice deck.
Burn shouldnt be an issue with Ooze....
add Wrap in Vigor. pretty much any boardwipe cripples you, Wrap in Vigor regens your stuff at instant speed.
Augur of Bolas would help you get your instants and socreries into your hand, and is also tougher than most merfolk.
Like I said in my response to this, I still think you have a solid deck, and never thought you were hinging your wincon on that ONE interaction. All of your spells are still strong together, just not in that one capacity. Thanks for the rep :)Check out my Rakdos deck :)http://www.mtgvault.com/ninjastyle612/decks/is-it-stuffy-in-here/
While I agree about the land issue, I disagree on what should be removed. Chromatic Lantern is totally unnecessary in a two color deck, and I think it would run smoother if you removed the lanterns and added 2 more lands.I also agree on Rakdos's Return...I would swap 2 Vexing Devil for 2.
1/22/2011 When Increasing Vengeance resolves, it creates one or two copies of a spell. You control each of the copies. Those copies are created on the stack, so they're not "cast." Abilities that trigger when a player casts a spell won't trigger. The copies will then resolve like normal spells, after players get a chance to cast spells and activate abilities.the ruling on Increasing Vengeance. Still seems like a decent deck, just probably not quite as fast as you thought it would be.
if you copy a flashback spell from the graveyard with Chandra, Dual Casting, Increasing Vengence, Reverberate, ect, you will only trigger Burning Vengeance once, for the initial flashback cast. the rest are abilities that put a copy on the stack, not cast a flashback spell.Just so you know. I had to take Dual Casting out of my Izzet deck because it doesnt trigger Guttersnipe.

is there a reason you are only using R2R? if not, I SUGGEST removing Pacifism in favor of Oblivion Ring, or even 2 more Detention SphereSyncopate instead of Cancel might also be a decent switch, as Syncopate exiles whatever it counters.Evolving WIlds is just fine, as well Good luck!Check out my Creature Thief deck if you get a chance:http://www.mtgvault.com/ninjastyle612/decks/lambs-to-slaughter/
Into the MawChromatic LanternFarseek/Rangers Path/Caravan Vigilalso run enchantment removal, since O-ring and D-sphere can both readily dispose of your main wincon
I would run 2 Endless Ranks and 2 Army of the Damned, also I would drop Havengul Lich and Harvester for additional land. Nothing slows down a high tempo deck like a bad mana draw...
Utvara Hellkite as well.
Omnath, Locus of Mana
splashing blue also lets you add Cackling COunterpart....you thought 4 faithmenders was good, try 8 :)
I agree with Iceman, but the planeswalkers, if nothing else, give your opponent something else to worry about and spend their combat phases on. Tamiyo just might keep you alive lol
