I think its because before we had a place to play we would play on MTGO, were those cards are not available in common, so when we did get some space at the local club to play and run pauper events we decided not to use those cards, just to maintain consistency? That's probably most the best reason as we all had to buy physical decks anyway to play, ha! Its been mentioned as going to the paper ban list but as far people always voted in favour of leaving those cards banned.... hopefully one day I get to put grenade In this list though...
Im sorry? Ill alter how i ask in future, my group uses a differnt banlist to you so i was just asking for replacements, im sorry if i offend you. T^T
cheers man, I play mimic atm and Im looking for a change.I didn't even know abandon was a card! It's only one life point one that seems like it will be good! Thanks again for all the help over the years!

...holy balls you are correct! I missed this!
I mean wheel is great but its a bit risky in my deck, it could just give my opponent more gas than me, and seeing as I'm trying to hand attack as well, it just doesn't seem that great for me after I cast restore balance, though it does help me find it I guess? But it means I can't cast both in the same turn, so I would have to splash quickening to make that work...Though I'll give it a go, have not ordered the cards yet!
Also, im not so salty about this deck anymore. Im going to put in some of the new 2cmc bounce target permanent and watch my opponent try and instant speed flash in a Gideon on negative life. Then call a judge and watch the tears flow.
No, the walker rule was updated with the legend rule, for reference look up top 8 gameplay of any of the major standard tournaments ...
List of cards that though not on the banned list, are not at common on mtgo anywere. Seeing as that is the most played pauper gets in England those cards are added to the list of banned cards. They are here:http://mtg.gamepedia.com/Pauper_MagicThough like other non supported banned lists its not official but its the list they use here.
I see you don't use the online banned list.... This deck seems ace, but sadly my local group goes by that banned list... What do I take out for grenade?
Metallurgic mimic really does give this a boost, meaning they need to kill that, not the warcaller. Blightning is also a good call...probably over rageblood tbh...The way I see it, your aiming to be emplty handed and attack turn 4 for huge damage, but the only way to do that is to have ragemonger. The deck will be fine in casual, playing one or two games them putting it back in the box. In competitive people will bolt your ragemongers though making your turn four rather bad.. unless you bait that with no warcaller in hand and use the fact they lost tempo killing a low power guy to bolt+creature or bolt+blightning... also, three mana creatures are hard to protect....I don't know, as a casual deck its staller, if this is the power level of your meta. As a modern deck its lacking a few things.
YESSS YESSSS. Though I don't feel like as fortold does that much in this deck? It gives you one more free spell for the combo, but it also adds another roadblock to your draws.... I could make this aswell if you want and see how the stacks up to mine and the other guys?
Sadly the only card that activates waste not is the thoughtseize, the rest say "exile" instead. Waste not is a really good card in pox builds though...ugh...pox...
hey dude, if you cut the thriving rhio, pai nallar and servant of the conduit you should still have enough energy to go off, but also make your deck just that little bit more consistent. If there are times you feel you miss them in certain matchups vs your friends then you should keep them in a sideboard.Hope this helps. ALSO consider cutting temper as you can't really cast it for its mana cost and if you run manglehorn in its slot you should really feel the great power you have vs arifacts!
It actually makes me a little mad that this deck isn't totally trash >.<
I wonder what a reshuffled banned list modern would be like.... like pick the current top tier decks ban the key cards from them, ban mono colour decks, and ban fetches of any kind.... this sounds like a weird format...you could even run it with a yugioh style ban list and ban the most popular cards at the end of each month to keep the meta healthy. It would not be expensive as the cards you using would always be of low value as they are either banned or not played in modern... the possibilities are endless!
Spirit guide! YES, ok this deck gets better and better! Though you have a really different style to me. This plays allot like free win red kind of draw go control, and the mana is far more unstable...I get what your going for and will show both to my friends and proxy them, but with the lack of selection in the main I feel like mine will win more.Thank you very much for your input. :D
I like the idea but you have overplayed the mechanic.Staples like thoughtseize and dismember are really needed in this kind of midrange deck. cheaper removal like scar also works far better than something like grim affrication, as everything with a -1/-1 should be dead already. Also you already have Hepara for token swarm... you don't need more from the scarabs... in that slot of you want an enchantment id run crumbing ashes, but your probably much better or running something like maelstrom pulse or even just Geralf's messenger, as he has all of synergy with your deck.
